how? can you help a brother out?

So i have a AVIC-D3 with a gen 5.5 Ipod, the one that you have to downgrade in order to use. My question is can I make playlists for the video so I can pick out certain videos instead of starting at the beggining all the time. Ive tried making playlists in Itunes but everytime I pick a song from the playlist on the ipod and hook it up to the head unit, it always starts at the first song and goes through ALL my songs, disregarding the playlist. Thanks

can anyone make me one with a 2004-2008 nissan maxima? i have a red one if anyone can incorporate that, also if someone could make one with a LA kings logo or maybe a soviet flag thx

there is an alternative....you have to downgrade your 6th gen ipod to 1.0.2 firmware and only then will you be able to play videos http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=4663201 you need the firmware and signatures files, i might be able to find them off my itunes, well have to see... and then you gotta turn shuffle off on your ipod, its a pain but i do it

Do you have the ipod hookup? If your ipod is hooked up randomly it will make a hissing noise for a few seconds, only wai i know of fixing it is turning the ipod charging off on the d3.

so a few days ago with help from a forum member I finally restored my 6th gen ipod to 1.0.2. I put videos on there and they all worked good for a couple days, but it doesnt work anymore. I usually put video on the d3, then pick the video from my ipod, disconnect the cable then reconnect and it works. But now i dont get any sounds or video on my d3 like i used to. Anybody know how i can fix this?

ok ive tried everything and anything and nothing seems to work!!!! i have a 6th gen ipod and a tried putting it in disk mode and it would get past the "firmware not found" but now i try doing it again and it gives me the firmware not found error. someone please walk me through this, $5 paypal to whoever could walk me through this over the phone or in chat/email in one quick sitting. pm me or email me

is the av input the one in the front of the unit?

So is there anyway at all i can get my 6th gen ipod to play videon on my d3? any cables or anything at all?
