there's no ground in the nissan harness. You have to hook the ground wire of the avic to metal behind the dash. tHere's also 3 stickies dealing with this in the hacks/mods section.

we're celebrating our adversary on the 1st of march on non leapyears. Wedding went off without a hitch. Don't remember most of it, it all seems a burr now. The honeymoon was nice. Though it seems like they're repaving about 70% of I95. Plus I got the flu on Monday was stuck in bed all day on Tuesday. At least from Wednesday on we were able to go to Disney and have fun. The illumination is not hooked up. Ill will never say NOK. It'll just say off if it's off or not hooked up. Again year make model of vehicle would be helpful.

Looks like a toyota factory addon system. I forget who they're made by, but if I remember correctly the control module has a pigtail with av inputs. However one cavaet, a lot of installers don't bother putting that pigtail in if they're not using it.

That's why you put the resistor in. to get rid of that pop. If you can live with the pop then don't bother.

Those discs may not work properly with the d3.

Nope no big deal. The gmos will plug into the front and rear outputs of the avic. Then plug the rcas for the basslink into the sub out of the avic. you will end up splicing the remote output of the avic (blue/white) to both the gmos and the remote lead you run to the basslink. One more word of advice. Make sure you set the fade/balance to center and the eq to flat. The blose amp remebers those settings even with the stock deck out. And you may lose the ability to fade. Again because of the blose amp it only acccepts 2 channels of input.

Match wire colors between the avic harness and the 70-5519. Doesn't get much simpler. Tuck the gps antenna wire along the edge of the dash and shove it under the carpet. Not much to that either.

2 years and 54000 miles now, and my backup camera still works.
