OK, i will check the wire connections to make sure none are lose I have a Monte carlo and it has the steering wheel controls for it and the interface. that just adds tons of wires to the whole mess. not impressed with it either. but it tends to get cramped up in there do to the size of that interface. will check it out next weekend. Thanks for the help i will let ya know what i find on it.

OK thanks will do this. after you asked earlier i started to think of when i noticed it most. it was after hitting a hard bump one day. and now if you touch the face on it to much while driving it shuts it down also. Is it possiabel to have a face plate goign bad?

It was installed from the Ins. company after they stole the last one out of the car.

was taking a short day trip while driving down the road the screens for the kids decided not to work, then they would and send a screwed up signal. then would work fine agian. . I would have thought it was the screens but then the head unit would shut off on it with out notice and the only way to get it to start back up again would be to turn on the head unit again. It would power off and not restart. ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO FIX IT?????????

I actually found on Ebay a disk for sale . But ya need to becareful as i have also foudn some on there that are pirated versions. and who knows what model that they are for

well that would be the issue LOL I dont have any Dubbel layer disk, not even sure i have a burnner for it . have to check the lap top to see if it can do them thanks

this is what im useing but it wont even try to write to it. says it si to big right away. Am i missing somethign here? just wish it was on line someplace in a reliabel site tha tyou could down load it so that it would fit the disk. and also be a good copy so that you dont ruin the org. I havent yet figured otu why they just didnt find away to hook it up wher eit was in the stereo instead of on disk or so tha tyou could down load it to the stereo .

ok well got alchol 120 free down load it broke it but now it wont fit on a DVD. So now i just need to figure out wha tto do with it next LOL Man i have never had this kind of issues with anythign i have done in the past but fo rsome reason this disk is a pita . i just want to make sure i dont screw up the factory disk in the hot summers around here

I have a DVD burner i also have the programs to do it but they are not doing it it is rejecting it saying that it cant read it.

how can you burn the DVD from pioneer? I dont want to leave it in the car and have it get damged. also would be nice to know it is not in the car melting LOL Thansk for any help on this one.

sorry i havent forgot the wife was put in the hospital for a while and im finally startign to get normal agian after this lates ordeal. But i actually have one im doing for ya now but i cant upload it due to the size. i will get it done and posted for ya.

seems to be workign for mine i will et you all know if it changes but i folloew the phtos on the page here and all seems right to me. and took it for a drive aroudn the block and nothign changed on it

just becuse you have no radio dont mean you dont have the wires int eh same place. look for it there anyway. mos tof th etime they will throw the same harness in a car no matter what the options are if they are something that is not a seperate harness it is cheaper for them to order 50,000 of the same then 40,000 of one and 10,00 of another. so i would look for it in the same place any way. also you can call a dealer ship withc is what i did the other day for s&g and foudn out there really is a Vss wire in the back of the radio but they had two diffrent answer on witch one it was lol

Like i SAID THIS WAS REAL RUFF AND FAST. think it was about 10min. worth of time in Photo shop. I actually hav eone that dont have the Pioneer in it. Was thinking you might like that as a splash screen but i can get rid of it also. We will see what i can do to get somethign done tonight or tomarrow. as far as the emblem that was the firs tone i could find and was not a good photo anyway. So i actually have a better one now.

Now i just have to get the dynamic stuff workign in it. when they installed they didnt hook anything up. slaped a ant. on it and threw the radio int eh car and said have a good one. go figure Ins. installs.

thanks Mis Fit. I will look there. Someone said it was also int he radio harness and i was hoping to catch it there so i didnt have to splice a wire. I could just do it in the plug and see if i can do it around the adaptor plugs for the new stereo

can some one help with a 2003 monte carlo SS i dont have the on star but i did have the speed sensor on the radio and it would go up and down with the speed. So i know it is there some place just havent been abel to find it yet.

first yes i have read the frekin manual. But i cant get the clock to set correctly. It is always on AM/PM at teh wrong time of day, Also how do you change what i belive is the date . Right nwo i have got it set to the right area of the country and even the right time as far as the numbers go but the AM/PM is wrong and so is the date. Dose this work off of the GPS ANT. Some how? (this is actually being reintalled on Mon. to fix a broken Ant. the radio is not seeing it at all) Any help would be nice so at leas I might get the clock to read the right time.

I am willing to attemp somethign for ya. But i tend to have stuff that is not real flashy so much more of a clean look. I just posted soem i did of H.D. stuff What are you looking for in the back grounds? Any colors for liek your car to match it with the body colors etc... Let me have a idea of what type of thing you have in mind and i will get to going on it for ya'll
