  7. it was the C2R-CHY, had an older version. The latest version 13 of the module works fine. Thanks for your insights! And yes, the PAC guys are awesome, quick response to help! :D

  9. well, multiple times I've entered my car and found my Avic-Z1 will not power on. If I unplug my power connector harness and plug it back in (I guess this means a hard reset) then it works.
