for one of the problems with nothing being displayed make sure the connections are the right way for the link up there only one directional and also to u need to activate the sirus feature on your d1 to allow a proper connection. as for the units just shutting off and not working anymore u need to unplug the unit and allow for the unit to reset plus reset the deck and it will come back but the tuner for pioneer is actually been recalled atleast in canada there were 2 many problems they will be comming out with a revised version next year.

man jjust bypass the factory amp and run everything off the deck and after market speakers now your factory amps one controls the tweeters and the other controls the woofer so make sure u get a proper diagram if u attempt to do this

first off the grand cherokee is a din and a half unit but also to the microphone does not work that well with this unit that i would suggest useing it. it was mainly used on the avic-n2 or d1 other models did not work that good. now also 2 check to see if the factory system is working properly sometimes the factory amps do need to be bypassed to get the function to work properly.
