  1. So I just got done installing my Pioneer P3300BT head unit and I cant get the video work at all. Not when im parked or while im diving. I know there is a bypass to allow video playback while driving, but im not really interested in that. I did not connect the parking brake wire, so im going to assume thats why its not working at all. I thought I read that just grounding the parking brake wire would be good enough, maybe not? This is my first head unit install and everything went well, besides this. lol Can anybody help? Vehicle is a 2010 Nissan Xterra
  2. Yeah I read that thread, id rather have wired than crappy sound via a blutooth add-on. Ill probably grab the X920BT when that comes out.
  3. The D3 thought my phone was a iPod, I could control play, pause, back and skip. All through the BT.
  4. You will need an iPod for that. Ya I see that now. I definelty didnt need an iPod to do that with the AVIC-D3. Pioneer back tracked with the current X models.
  5. Got it all hooked up last night, works nice. The only thing I dont like is you cannot control the MP3 player from the unit, I just get a black screen that says "AV1". Meh.
  6. So I use to stream BT Audio on my old AVIC-D3 to my Motorola Droid and I could control play, pause, skip and back all from the headunit. Im going wire in my phone now via a 3.5mm cable, but im wondering what the best way to do this is. I DO NOT want to use the AV source on the front of the unit. I want to run it from the back. I was thinking about getting a cable like these two to make it work: Anybody have a better suggetion before I run all the cable through my car?
  7. Yeah I know, but its 2010, and I hate having cables running all over my car.
  8. I just want to stream my MP3's from my phone. And play Pandora. I assumed this was a simple feature that this unit had since my D3 had it. Wrong.
  9. "Introducing the AVIC-X910BT, the BT kind of works. The X stands for X'ing out the BT!!!!"
  10. Yep, I know that now....but both are more money than I want to spend and I didnt want to buy used.
  11. Just found out the X910BT doesnt support streaming BT Audio, what a joke. If I would have known this before (I know, should have done more research) I wouldnt have bought it. I might be returning this unit.
  12. I just replaced my D3 with the 910 and just realized that it doesnt support BT Audio! WTF!! I stream Pandora all the time along with all my MP3's. Is there a plan to make this possible? Firmware update?
  13. Thank you for your information. I ended up going with the X910BT from Amazon for like $522.00 shipped. Now about this modding thing, any good links to information about this? Im big into modding my phone's (currently have a Moto Droid) and would be interested in doing so with the navi unit.
  14. Hello, I just sold my AVIC D3 with my car and im looking to get a AVIC-X910BT, but have been reading a lot of negative reviews. slow boot up times, glitching, lag and hang ups. Is the D3 a better unit over the X910BT? Suggestions on what to get?
  15. I still have issues with my Droid and voice dialing with my D3. It plays music just fine, but trying to make a phone call just doesnt work. It connects, but I get no sound and then the phone resets. I have had 4 Droids and they all do the same thing. People over at the Droid forums suggest its a Pioneer issue. It worked just fine when I had the Storm 1 and Storm 2. Any suggestions?
  16. So its normal that the Droid resets when im trying to make a voice call? My music seems to work just fine, but trying to place or answer a call results in the phone shutting down.
  17. Nevermind, found this link! http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12163
  18. So im trying to get pictures on my D3 after 1 year of owning it I did a seach and found some instructions but it still doesnt seem to work. This is what im doing: Creating a folder on my desktop named "PICTURES". Placing 5 pictures in the folder. All of them 1680x1050 Burning them to a disk with Nero. I put the disk in the D3 and its says reading format" then nothing happens. I dont have any option to click the disk. What am I doing wrong?
  19. You dont happen to know if it works with the bluetooth features do you?
