the XM is only recognized if you have the NAV traffic hooked up with data cable for the 3d calibration.. do you have the VSS wire hooked up? and for your video problem. i would check the ground of the power source of your video player. try a diff cig lighter or power inverter

sounds like you have your power wires switched. double check your constant and switched wires and your alternator could be on its last leg

thats what i did nice being able to have dvds on it as iso and vobs. i keep one or 2 movies uncompressed on it, and the rest are xvid and divx. this thing is a godsend

i dunno.. besides the updated ipod use.. i'm not digging the d3 at all... smaller screen, 1 cd/dvd slot(would be a PIA to switch from music to nav disc and back again).. i'm happy with my d2.. i'd only get rid of it if i got a Z1 or a Z2

It DOES say speed pulse, but the number stays at 0. Is this number supposed to be zero? is it supposed to change when I drive? This could be a better question: Is there anywhere that will tell me if my VSS is NOT hooked up? if it says 0 its not hooked up right.. double check your connections and make sure u have the right wire for VSS

your speed pulse count will increase

i have a question.. the blue wire from the head unit to the amp for remote power on. is that constant? like i wanna be able to add a switch to turn off the amp when i listen to talk radio (Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez). if i put a switch in line of the remote turn on, will that cut the amp off when i throw the switch? thanks Brian

you need the PAC-SWI PS adapter from www.pac-audio.com for it to work with your steering wheel controls

you use dvddecrypter and load the mds file and burn that the mdf and mds files are an image file of the cd..
