Radio ID should show. I have Navtraffic hooked up with no data cable , another story. Anyway, Yes, the status does not show, but the ID does.

I bought a "unused" NavTraffic kit from ebay. It was manufactured in 05. Anyway, I didn't get a Data cable for the NavTraffic. Was one supposed to come in the box?

....why does the mute need to be grounded? I just thought the empty slot needed to be grounded (along with the PB). You can put any wire in the empty slot, it doesn't have to be the mute wire, right? I'm actually about to do this for a D1, but I assume the process is the same. Ground the empty slot & PB. I'm not sure why the mute needs to be grounded though.

I thought that's what the data cable was for.

What is the p-bus cable for?

I went to a BB in the "south" Bay Area and it did not have the Bluetooth included for $699. It was just the HU.

What is TYTN 2?

I found the part number for red... SML-310VT Does anybody know where to get them? A company called ROHM makes them, but you have to be a company, university, research, etc to get them.....not for personal use. Anybody have any ideas?
