Anyone notice a slow movie start up from 3G S or ipods?

Well thank your friend who knows a friend who knows a friend that got you this. It makes me feel so much better about my unit. I just want it to work with my ipod, bluetooth and have a good GPS system. Thanks for making the video. I finally look forward to using my system.

Does anyone have a product code for the update... I'm being told that it doesn't exsist and that the only update is 2.0006 and that is free. I've talked to customer care, parts department, customer care again, and the parts department again! I even told the guy it's a 3.0 update and I have a website that has numerous people purchased this update... are you telling me they are mistaken? He said "I'm not here to argue with you, this is what I have". I politely asked him to ask someone else for me. Wish me luck!

I just wanted to put in my experience and see if anyone got the same care. I called into the customer service number (US care) and the lady took a look at who I needed to talk too. She then gave me the parts number (US again: 800-228-7221) and after a few more minutes of waiting someone got on the phone to help. I asked about the 3.0 update that I saw on their website (I didn't mention anything about this website) and that I wanted to place an order for it. I didn't really want to pay and I was going to ask about getting just the fix for the bad software but either way I was ready to pay the $

True Pioneer can just stop providing updates and release a new F series. How would that go over with all their current customers owning the current F-series and knowing that they were left in the dark by Pioneer? Not to well. Every manufacture including Kenwood, Alpine, Eclipse etc provide support for their products, so it doesn't matter what happened 10-20 yrs back weather or not they offered updates, the fact is they didn't have the technology to do so and we the users didn't have a way to accept the update other than shipping back a product so your comparing apples to oranges. has anyone seen any improvements with the iPhone 2.0 (original and 3G) since the first release? I have waited a long time for this system and it seems like a lot of you guys are still having troubles that go passed "acceptable" for a hands free system. I'm understanding if a system isn't suppose to be able to voice dail but when it's a big selling point of a system and it doesn't work; I just get discouraged. Thanks for your guys patients in using the F serie products; you guys are the ones that make it easier for others that haven't used it as of yet.

is it strictly a map update? I am wondering if they will add better bluetooth compatibility. For example; iPhone address book transfer? I a clean address book transfer is all I need and the F-series was going to be my choice but it's having a shit load of bluetooth problems.

I'm sorry if I'm coming in late but if the 90Bt is getting price cuts then I wouldn't mind getting in on this. I've been on here really rarely because I'm over seas right now and don't always have my laptop charged. Please add me to the list. And as far as what kind of deals people would expect; I'd say a good % is something like employee price, haha. In my head cost +10% is better though, lol

No Kidding! I emailed them and they do not have a storefront location for me to check out. They ship only. Here's the kicker. I am 10 minutes from their address, and the shipping charge for ground shipping is $42.00! I think I'll pass and find someone else. I hate that companies over charge shipment cost just so they can advertise a lower price product.

If you call Pioneer they can give you the "sku" for the Euro version. If you buy them in a store then you can bet that you'll get the Euro version as well. It wouldn't be smart for a shop in England to sell you the American map version, haha.

From the original post about the F-series someone mentioned that they tested their iPhone at the road show and the phone book transfer. Once this is out and people start using it we can make a list of cell phones and devices that work with the bluetooth and the limitations of each.
