Mine freezes also, but still asks to connect to a tv even though I can see video. I have to use the avic screen to jump through movies..

I also can get video on the D3 screen, and can control from the D3 touch screen, Bt my Ipod is stuck on "Connect to TV" and I can't use the ipod for better control. arg

Thank you! I got this thing just to play the music video's form my Ipod. I got the video to the screen now but I still can't use the Ipod for control. The Ipod keeps asking my to connect to a TV, even though the avic is playing. Anyone have a fix for that?
