  1. Most people on here that use itunes have an ipod that is connected to the radio. What format are you burning the disc in and does it play? But I have burned a couple and plays them on the f900bt and they work fine.
  2. You were probably talking to me I have great customer service
  3. I am all for the F series. It is a major upgrade to the D3 in my opinion. I had a problem with my ipod also but I was running 1.0.2 software on my ipod which I needed for the D3 to enable videos. Now since I have updated to 1.1.2 everything is good to go with no problems. My voice rec. for the ipod is seamless and I have a heavy southern accent so I don't understand how other people are having issues. Load time is a bit of a pain but oh well. Overall this was a good buy in my opinion F900bt.
  4. Look I have been through many different radios and the new f series in my opinion is pretty damn good. I am not going to go through the all the options and such because I would be here an hour talking about it all. The D3 don't get me wrong was absolutely horrible after a year but the f series is 2000% better.
  5. Anybody whom still has a warranty at any store should just brick the thing with the new map and bring it back to the store with the original maps. Then get the f900bt it is truly 2000% better than the d3. Trust me I was a heavy d3 believer and after I installed my f900bt man what a difference.
  6. My palm treo 800w paired up perfectly running windows 6.1. I was a little skeptical about buying the radio because of the the problems I had with my mogul and treo on the btb-200. Anyone having a problem with the mogul try updating it to windows 6.1 then it works nicely with the bluetooth.
  7. ok maybe I am the only idiot who did this. I was starting to think this file was a hoax. You have to turn on you d3 and load the disc it will give you an error on the disc. Turn off your car with the disc loaded in the slot and it will begin the install when you turn it back on. I burned four good disc before I realized this. Also this update seems to only be a map update that was made back in May 2008. My street is actually on this version so I am kinda happy but there appears to be nothing too exciting to me. I was hoping on an ipod and bluetooth update but I expected too much I see.
  8. I don't see why this wouldn't work for you I have used it in many different applications. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... /ADT-VA133
  9. Per Pioneer rep ANY windows based phone running WM6 needs jetware which includes palm.
  10. This is going to sound funny but what I had to do was transfer the contacts one by one via the beam option. Go to the contact and select send contact then select beam. Aim the phone towards the remote control eye on the D3 and while phone book transfer is selected on the d3. Like I said you have to do this one by one.
  11. It can be done. First I would pull down the factory tv unit most of them have an input on the inside. Worst case scenario is to run the line to the exterior aux input that all the factory Chevy overhead TV's have. The last time I dealt with a gm overhead about 3 years ago it had an input on the inside. Hope this helps.
  12. The d3 will only use it's own pioneer dvd changer, main dvd drive, or ipod connection to show on rear screen. i had the same problem when using an external dvd player. You have two options to fix this. 1.Use either a Y splitter for your video or video amp with multiple outs. 2. Buy a rear screen with built in dvd and use the output to provide video input to the D3. I lucked up and got my pioneer six disc dvd chenger for $250 brand new because of an advertisement mistake at Nebraska Furniture Mart. They are normally $600 +
  13. Check other forums the file is posted in at least three of them with detailed instructions on how to do it. You should have the file onyour computer though if you have had the ipod since day one.
  14. I bought mine last night and returned it 20 mins later does this answer your question
  15. Your absolutely right in fact what apple did was release a firmware to allow users to use it without a chip because there sales were horrible for the classic . Once sales picked back up they stuck it to us. Good thing I was able to downgrade because my local apple store was going to have me in there going total ape sh**
