Using the AVIC to browse the internet might be ok if you really needed too (hopefully parked) but I believe the real prize will be listening to internet radio stations through your AVIC while you are driving down the road.

Are you sure it's XA band, and not KA or just X? I'm only asking cause I never heard of an XA band. Also the GPS is a receiver only and shouldn't be transmitting any signals.
