  1. I'm sure this has been covered, but I cant find it. Is it possible to search for a POI in a different state? Lets say I'm in Maryland and need to find a Holiday Inn in South Carolina. Currently, the only options it gives me is to look for a POI in the immedate area or near my destination. What if i dont have a specific destination except that Holiday Inn in South Carolina? I remember this being covered somewhere but I cant find the thread. Could you please point me out to it or just let me know if it can be done? Thanks fellas.
  2. anyone know if you still have time left on your sirius subscription, can you buy an XM receiver and transfer the service?
  3. looks like we can finally just go with the better XM receiver and add the Sirius channels you want... http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/081002/sirius_a_la_carte.html?.v=2
  4. tried that too... I hit display until the artist's name was showing and then hit memo... "song saved" again.
  5. I have the f90bt, with the SVCDOC1 and a starmate. How do you memo the artist instead of the song? My old alpine would let you choose which one you wanted with the SCC1. The manual says you can memo either, but it doesnt really say how other than hitting the memo button... which promptly says "song saved". Thanks for your help
  6. I'd like to sign a petition to get the damn 4th gen ipod to work... I really dont feel like buying a brand new ipod just for it to sit in my glove box.. Oh well...
  7. I just got all my stuff today and was ready to install it... It seems you need a SVCDOC1 too. Seems no store has these in stock either... so I had to order it. Looks like i gotta open up the dash twice. I should have done more research... I should have just gotten the SCC1 and called it a day...
  8. from that pic, that does look like it has "instant replay". Is that the same thing as rewind if you get the CD-SB10 and a sirius sportster rather than the SCC1?
