That is something specific to your unit. Depending on what mods you have done in the past things can start acting weird. If all else fails you can restore to an original config then load my mods again. I would start with deleting the save files and see how it behaves. I think this is a avic thing my 900 did before doing any mods. Normally just waiting a min then tapping the screen brings it back to normal.

Wow great mod!! I been away since updating to 3.0 in september and you guys made some huge progress. I have a few questions though, what happened to the 'simulate route' button or 'flyover' options? I ask because i have building files from 2.0 dated 8/09 and 1/09 but I only see landmarks when i zoom out and back into chicago area. I'm wondering if its because i'm zooming rather than simulating. BTW I just copied my older building files to the buildings folder. Is it ok for me to do the 2009.6 maps upgrade after installing this mod or should that have been done first?

I took my car to bestbuy and had them inspect the cable. When i arrived i was already getting the left side audio. when he unscrewed my dash the right side sound came on. He then pulled out the radio and inspected the cables. Everything was nice clean and tight. Our only idea was that the cable was pinched or the unit was screwed in too hard. In any case I been getting both sides of sound through repeated power-ons and unplugs.

posssibly broken. Your P20 shouldve came with a significant length of cable so you probably need an extension. How are you connecting your car antenna to the P20 5ft away? Isnt the car antenna normally behind the stereo?

same problem but i get sound on left side only intermittently and also use the pioneer cable. going to BB to get it checked out and possibly doing the electrical tape solution if its loose.

Its the ipod cable. my ipod and ipod touch does the same thing. Sometimes its plays out of both sides but mostly out of the left side. I have to unplug and replug back in. Not sure why it does this but there is an amazon reviewer who had the same issues and said his search led him to the cable being defective. I thought it was a short in the cable but no matter which way i toss my ipod it will sometimes work and sometimes not. I'm going to BB today to see if they can find a loose connection before dropping another 50.

I have a P10 and mine does AM and AM HD just like the FM. I also used the antenna splitter because i use MSN which uses the FM signal. Yes do this within the HDRadio icon. You have to press Band i think 4 times to get to AM.

On the AM screen > function > BSM > on All it does is programs your AM presets to the best signal match. Just an easy way to see if you got channels.

Did you try a BSM search while in AM?

Has anyone tried the iphone/ipod touch app yet? Also does it only work with X-series?

Reading a review of the P20 on Amazon also states the presets still dont show on the f-series. May swap it out and place in another car with pio unit.

so u did or did not try pressing rewind? all files may show up with the blank screen but pressing rewind normally plays the movies. I can't suggest anything else cause it works for me and ur having the same problems I have. I also use isquint to convert to ipod movies but it doesn't do chapters though.
