Well i'm not sure what sys does but everything is playing nice. I have lava's data.zip and keepers fonts and sys file. For Boris i have the 2.0 updated ui files he posted in the progress report thread. I removed his msnd and 2 navigate files. I first copied his ui_pioneer folder to my igo folder then rebooted. Then i copied the file set from here to igo folder and rebooted. Now everything works and looks fine. One question, how do i get my route display settings back such as; arrival time and speed limit? I also noticed that route mute remembers its state.

what is the purpose of sys.txt? Well what did you change in it?

Ok i forgot one part. I would have to delete your navigate ui files from my ui_pioneer folder if i used keeper data.zip. For your navigate files, did you only add housenumbers, clock and turn restrictions?

I only need the navigate and navigate_800_400 files, not the whole data.zip? Also whats the purpose of the sys.txt file? My understanding is this: 1. I copy your new ui_pioneer folder (speedcam, place, poi, setting) to my igo directory 2. take keepers 2 navigate files along with fonts, fonts in igo and navigate in your ui_pioneer folder that i copied onto avic. or add whole data.zip but backup original. 3. sys.txt, not sure if i need this file. but backup my original. 4. if things go bad, delete the ui_pioneer folder so i'll have original 2.0fw again. or restore data.zip. 5. if things

Boris so if we just want to keep the speedcam settings and POI settings then all we need is place, setting, and poi ui files along with speedcam location file? I already have those added to my avic, so can i go ahead and just copy Keeper or lava's data.zip, sys, and font files to my avic and everything will play nice? I'm referring to the quicklaunch thread. Do we need your navigate file for those mods above to work? If so is it possible to highlight those sections so we know what part to copy to keepers file?

Your download doesnt seem to work any more. Is it possible to just edit my navgate file to add the hide button and quick launch buttons? I have boris mods that i dont want to part with. If so do i need to disable full cockpit view? I'm not even sure why i have that enabled anyway. I wish it would only pop up when in route. I also like how you cleaned up your blue boxes. They are annoying to look at being uneven and overlapping.

I have the same splitter and i get msn but my antenna always show zero. HD works like a gem as far as reception. The quirks i have is no preset info and next preset buttons tends to skip channels, it goes from 1 to 4 or 6 to 3.

How do i remove the turn restriction?

do we change 'color' or 'color2'? I want an orange to go with my interior lights so i would choose #FF9933, which color spot would i put it in? For fonts can i basically type any font type thats in Word 2000?

How do you know what color you're choosing, or is it all trial and error?

you can rename folder to ui_pioneer and drag it to igo folder in avic.

so I have v2 installed and added back my branded icons and nothing else. im driving today in route to lunch and guess what pops up on my screen...a speed camera warning with audio beeps and the display. I look back in settings - nav - warnings and the speed cam option isn't even there. anyone else expeeience this?

Boris i updated the FW to 2.0 and trying to redo the mods. I have the following files common/800: speedcam, POI, setting, place. These are all i need for POI, address and speedcams correct? I also went through the new data.zip and there is no new navgatemap_ui file, where is this file for me to add the mute voice code, do i take the data.zip from avic to have that file?

is only the update files allowed on the SD? I have the Launcher files and was wnderingif i had to remove those files before attempting the update.

this button is right beneath the 'info' button on the right side of screen. if you have an ipod it would be right above the album art. it looks the same as the other buttons.

I think he's already working on this, on pg1 item 6 i think. This would be sic to use stock Avic and Igo8 interface. Not sure how the BT POI calls and voice commands would work though. TomTom may be more difficult. Is it possible to change the menu hard button to a switch of some sort to cycle Launcher and Avic Main Menu? when using tomtom or igo, we cant get into main avic menu to change settings or make phone call cause menu button brings up launcher. My issue today was my ipod sound wasnt working and i realized i had to change AV1 to ipod but i couldnt get to settings.

access a map on avic tomtom and get the error message. then exit and leave car. it will create a .bif file on your sd that has the id in it when opened in notepad.

Question about street numbers. is it possible to have the same principles applied to highways? like upcoming exits while not in route be displayed as if it was a street #.

thats exactly what i did but i get no new voices, only the regular one and the unavailable UK ones edit: O i just realized i said 'yes' to english voices, i'll try again and report.

I tried this and i didnt see a + button on my map besides the zoom button. I copied files to SD\Voices and they dont show up in TomTom, do i need to make folders for each set of voices?

What brink094 said. At this point, you could also hide the detour button -- it doesn't do much of anything yet, and you can set detours from stock interface's itinerary screen... I'd rather not hide it cause i like it being there even though it does little. But it does add a shortcut to my saved POI search for food Boris, is this the line i change for detour: edit: i made this line y=340 and it was enough.
