  1. Yea, what he's saying is sometimes the map in 3d stops its forward progression with you so what you see is a static map and you going away, uh, from yourself. It seems even wierder to see it described in text, but it happens to my 90 several times a month. It's fixed by pressing the map button.
  2. Just trying to help dude. It's a fiftten minute job if you got that stuff or know someone who does. Damn
  3. It's not complicated. The standard automotive antena cable is constructed like this: Jacket copper braided jacket foil plastic insulation copper antenna conductor Now, with a very sharp razor knife cut all three jackets only off three inches from the end. It is very easy to cut the braided jacket so be easy. I found that the cut around and long slit method the best. Next, carefully unbraid the entire three inches of jacket and twist together into one bundle. You can now see the reletively thick foil wrapped plastic around the thin copper signal conductor. Get rid of the f

  7. no way, I tried. it seemed like I couldn't balance it.
  8. No, but I've got the new clearer voice at normal sound level with the beeps at an almost imperceptible level. I mean I can barely hear them at idle. Just adjust them.

  10. before: screen was difficult to see in sun after: perfect after you increase the brightness before: bluetooth worked and sounded fine after: bluetooth sounds great before: static in voice of unit after: gone before: sometimes screen was a little unresponsive after: workes like it should I don't have an ipod but they say they boot faster now. wish they would fix the preset issue in HD and Sirus (cant see what you have set) before: liked my f90bt after: think it is a great radio. it gives my $400 infinty component door speakers and their $300 dollar pioneer amp, and
  11. First let me start off by saying those pictures might as well been mine. I have the same truck with a 90bt. The only thing I cant't stand about the HD and sirius interfaces is with the preset screen. You can't see what frequency (HD) or station number (Sirius) you have set for 1, 2, 3, and so on like you can on the regular radio. You have to memorize what you have there. BTW my bluetooth works flawlessly. I have the mike on the steering column, with the excess wire rolled up out of sight next to the column inside the dash. I have an ATT tilt. It does not matter what I have the phone's
  12. I have my F90BT in my 04 F-150 with Sirius, HD, backup camera, and no stupid IPOD. The mike is installed on my steering column directly in front of me. When I call my wife, she says she can tell something is different, but says I sound just fine. My phone is an AT&T tilt. By the way, I have all the excess mike wire coiled in a loop just out of sight next to the steering column. The startup time for music is 20 seconds, and sd card music is 1 minute. backup camera is 20 seconds also. Bypass works great too. The only thing I hate is the static in the unit voice. Hope they fix it with
