  1. sirred, You will have to start using the search on this board not just flood with requests. Have you done a search on this forum? Did you read even this topic thoroughly? Before you ask please read. http://avic411.com/forum/download/file.php?id=7376
  2. weaponofchoice, Have your issue been resolved after resetting to manufacturer's settings? Seems like there are quite a bit of other factors that may cause the system to crash (software). If resetting does it, I can also provide a mirror site and include my own F90BT complete image. vegaslaptop
  3. I am sorry if I have not been able to respond to anybody. I had some personal things to take care of. krnfrk6663, I agree with minifreezer. You have to make sure of the model number of the stock you are downloading. If it is a software issue going back to stock would reset you to a normal boot. If after that it's still occurring, then I am out of options for you. Unfortunately, you will have to send it to Pioneer. 08STX, Does the iphone have a file (non-music extension file) loaded with Itunes. I have seen a similar behavior when the system tries to read a file but it's not th
  4. krnfrk6663, After you go back to stock please report, if it resolves your problem. It could be a mod that's affecting the OS on the unit.
  5. 04gmc, Your testmode issue has been experienced by other users. Here's one of the links I found http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=23852&p=163944&hilit=testmode#p163944 If this link does not help, please try to search for "testmode" and you will see different solutions to get into testmode. Hope this helps!
  6. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR MESSAGE For future reference, anyone that has a problem please provide a brief answer to the following list so that we can help you better and avoid multiple messages until we get an idea what the problem could be. First please list the model of you Avic unit (F90BT, F900BT, F700BT, etc.) 1) Past issues (reboots, freezing) 2) Have you (or professional) upgraded your Avic to the latest update 3) Did the issue start before or after the update, if applicable? 4) Did the issue start after a hack, a mod or a bypass? 5) How long have you had th
  7. o4gmc, I am sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble. Unfortunately, if you can not even get in testmode (or not long enough to delete the files) all you can do is send it to Pioneer. Before this started happening did you install the latest update (2) from Pioneer? Did you have any mods or hacks installed? vegaslaptop
  8. Please search the forum for test mode files download and how to get in test mode. After that try deleting the files I have mentioned in this forum. F90BT should work just fine with the same method. If not please see the above post and request a fresh backup. If you still have a problem pm me.
  9. Patrick, another gsxr 1k user has a backup of his system and he was providing it to whoever needed it. He may be able to give you his backup and you can try to resolve it that way. Send him a message.
  10. Patrick, Did you just have the system installed? Was it professionally installed? Do you have the latest firmware from Pioneer? I am try to deduce if it is hardware or software issue.
  11. I am not an expert on wiring by no means but I think you may not have a "clean" ground or short somewhere. But your issue does not sound like a software issue. Just a thought... Cheers
  12. Have you tried my solution? http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=22763&start=15#p156138
  13. pcguy760 you are welcome. I hoped it will work for somebody else as well. As far as resetting all your preferences... It should not. It did not change any of my settings. Cheers
  14. jays_avic, it is suppose to recreate them. This is why we delete them. Mine were corrupted and recreating them fix my issue. I am sorry to hear it did not do it for you.
  15. 1. Put the SD Card with the testmode folders in the root directory of the SD Card. 2. Turn the ignition on 3. In testmode go to Start->Programs->Windows Explorer 4. Click on "My Flash Disk" and you will see a bunch of folders and files 5. Click on Edit menu and select all (or at least the files you are planning to delete - gpspara0.bin, gpspara1.bin, gpspara2.bin and gpspara3.bin) 6. Go up one level to see the SD Card that you used to boot into test mode 7. Double click, Edit menu and paste 8. Go back to the "My Flash Disk" root directory and delete the above mentioned files 9. T
  16. I did not have any issues going into testmode. Then I deleted the files mentioned in my previous post. It's been almost a week since I did this and I have not had any issues. Hope this helps somebody else as well.
  17. Quick update on what it seems like solved my reboots (at least for now). I went in testmode, I copied my flashdisk on an USB flash that I plugged in to be safe, then went back in the flashdisk and looked at what files were used last. My reboots started when I used my gps so I was looking for something that would have gps in the filename. In the root directory of my flashdisk, I saw 4 files named gpspara0.bin, gpspara1.bin, gpspara2.bin and gpspara3.bin which were used last. I deleted all 4 of them as I assumed they may be created by the OS. After this I shut off my car, turned it on and no r
  18. Same started happening to me today. I am going to try to go to safe mode. Friggin Windows... How stable could anything by when the backbone is Windoze. If anybody has come with a solution, please let me know. I would hate to take the whole thing off and send it to Pioneer.
  19. My backup camera started turning off sporadically for a few seconds. Usually it's on a lot longer without turning off if I am not driving. I thought it maybe loose wiring and it happens mostly when I drive but I drove on bumpy roads and it's still fine but it will turn off for a second or two every once in a while. Could it be heat (asking same question as old? It's hitting over 110 here. I have a JVC KV-CM1 (btw any input about the quality of this camera?) I checked the power in the Z3 under Settings-Hardware-Connection Status- Power and I see the power changing anywhere between 13.4 to 1
  20. Hello everybody, First let me thank everybody for the great forum and specially Hyperite for the dedication. I followed the thread "AVIC-Z3 Hard Drive Image **OFFICIAL**"and read it through multiple times so the end result is - I have a 120GB Toshiba drive that works great (93GB Music Partition - I do not think I will ever get to fill it). I have a question about a Warning and a Caution that I get. When the avic starts up which by the way takes a good 20-30 sec at least (I think maybe the large drive takes longer), I get 2 messages: 1. When I press the "Map" button a caution pops
