  1. I recently purchased a Z3 and am having a problem with my rear monitor (Directed brand). The rear monitor will not show any video, however when I access the A/V page and touch the "rear Monitor" butoon- and I go to "Mirror" all I get is the buttons showing on the rear monitor, no picture, so I know it is getting a signal. So as of now the rear does not show DVD or TV What am I missing? Thanks for the help Jason Kokoska 407.702.3215 jpkprerunner@aol.com
  2. Alright, this morning I started the truck up and all i got was the "please insert the appropiate disk" message. -I never took the disk out!- So, after removing the Nav disk and reinserting it, all it would do is give me the message "Please eject the disk and insert the appropiate disk" message. And I could not access any menu. After about 1/2 hour it finally gave me the map screen, but it was not even near where I was (I am in Florida, it showed Conneticuit) And on the "Connection Stauts" screen, I had no GPS signal, and no speed sence signal. On the "Connection Status" screen sometime I have no GPS signal, and other times I have all orange signal. I also noticed that at times the "Installation Position" goes from "OK" to "excessive Vibration" where I am moving or not. At times the Vehicle Dynamics screen shows that I am going over 100mph or more, even at a stop. All of this only occurs when the unit is "cold" ie, first thing in the morning, after a litt
  4. Here is a thought, and it is only that. I have vertually zero computer hacking knowledge, so I may be way off base, but here i goes. I know that every time you start up the unit, you have to hit the "OK" key to view the map, but I have noticed on my D1 that if I have a route programmed in, and I turn off my truck to get gas or what ever, when I start up the truck again, I do not get the warning message. So there must be a way to find the line of code that bypasses the warning message when a route is programmed. Just a thought, hopefully it leads someone with hacking experience to
