I dont think that would be a problem, because as you've wrote its a Hardware bypass. So nothing to do with software. The unit thinks its on the handbrake all the time.

For everyone who feels like they are screwed by Pioneer. Send an E-mail or call Pioneer headoffice. Why does the USA Pioneer get a discount and EU Pioneer not?? My guess is that it will brick. Because you dont have the 8.3 maps on your system and the navi wont work. Maybe when you put the 8.3 maps on it but then you have to hack things to get it working. That are my thoughts......

I have also spoken to Pioneer the Netherlands this morning. And she told me that they would ask headquaters to do something about the price, but dont count on it. I am done with Pioneer i have several products of them, but when i need something, it wont be Pioneer anymore. And you all know when somebody has negative expriences you wont recommend them to your friends.... Their aftersales support is very poor and not willing to keep their customers..... and as she said(customer service): this is not the first bad product of ours.... And btw they are surfing on this forum too.

MY advice?!?!?! Dont buy any of the Pioneers...... Customer service bad. And navi unit doesnt reveal your expectations.

You are right.... off course there will be a hack. The Igo8.3 maps are avaiable on the net. So it will be an easy job to hack and update the firmware and igo app.. For me 60 euros will be the limit.

It's F*cking unbelievable that Pioneer ask such much money for the update. People from this forum has made the unit better then Pioneer. Ok i understand that you have to pay for map license. But seperate the firmware from maps...... because maps i can get them elsewhere We'll have to wait to pop up in newsgroups or something.

Not possible to download your V4 Mod. Keeps asking password and login. Very curious for this mod. Is there a button to put in a route while a route is allready active??

Whats the problem with the 2.005 update and the old ezrider.exe?? As mentioned in another post. I have no problems with the old one. Everything works fine.

I've installed the update 2.005 with the old ezrider.exe, and have no problems. Last weekend been to Germany and the update wasnt installed yet. Bummer... Every 5 minutes a reset.

Actually currently hacked EZRIDER.exe was prepared by my friend from Russia. New EZRIDER.exe from Firware update 2.005 fix just small TMC problem in Germany, so it's no reason to update to 2.005 in Russia, and no reason to prepare new hacked EZRIDER.exe. When Pioneer will announce newer EZRIDER.exe with a lot of usable changes, I will ask my friend to prepare hacked EZRIDER.exe again. I think your friend will hack the ezrider system on a short notice. Because the update to 2.005 is also for the russian nav's So maybe if you ask he's allready busy on it??

On my HTC Touch HD i have IGO 8.32. Those TTS sounds are very great. I've tried to install the tts file to the F900 but off course it will not work. Also copied the info.ini from the old tts file to the new one. Now its regonized but no upload. Will there someone be abble to integrate into the F nav?? I can supply files if needed. Sorry for bad english btw.
