I almost have it, the redlight mod is crashing the system though... keeper do you have just the code that you modified? not a data.zip, I want to compare the files to original and see what I can pull out of it. I believe the only code I changed is a few lines in navigatemap.ui and a whole bunch in navigatemap_800_480.ui

I have been trying to impliment some of Boris's mods and am having no luck so I am hoping you can figure it out.

Boris, For the last few day I have been trying to upload your changes with no luck the start up message just stays up until it reboots sometime later. I am pretty comfortable messing with the .ui files so I must be missing something. I have tried adding your files to my data.zip minus your navigatemap_800_480.ui (I want to keep the mads I have done) I tried adding the UI_pioneer files to IGO and still the same results Is there a mod I might have done that is conflicting, or some setting. I am totally stumped.

absolutely just reverse the show - hide actions on the hidden button and add it to the 5th spot.

I do not know off hand, but I do know the phone stuff is completely separate from the nav files so it is probably in the Image.res file. If you search for Image.res on here I believe people have listed what .bmp's it has in it.

Yes it is possible and very easy, the blue is somewhat transparent now, all you have to do is change the alpha channel in the .bmp Once you learn to use the alpha channel in photoshop (or similar graphics editor) you will have a lot of fun with this thing.

Make sure you upload the .bmp file in the zip and not the actual zip file, and that .bmp goes in the 800_480 folder. If it is looking for the image it makes me think you have the code right but not the image.

Launching contacts or the av or phone menu would be sweet., but I have NO idea how to do it.

I would like to change the clock on the Av screens. Changing the clocks on the nav screens have been covered here in a number of places.

Yes you are correect the only reason I put it in a zip is because you can't upload .bmp's on this site.

I would rather people make their own changes from here on out because there are so many options. Five icons, ten icons, hidden button, not hidden, button order, and which buttons to use.

Not to confuse you guys even more but lava10t2 has been asking for a hidden button and I like the idea of that so here is another option. As you can see in the image below there is a dotted box to press to bring up the quick nav. You could even change the alpha of the image so you don't see anything. I tried both but like it this way better. not really sure how to post this stuff. I guess I will try a step by step. Only do this if you have backed up your files and are comfortable working with .ui files. 1. open navigatemap_800_480.ui ina text editor. 2. search for ;quick me

no the one you download will be for 10 buttons. You will have to make the changes above to make it 5 buttons and the truck is only there for 3d Map

I am using the five button and I am using *Destination Menu *Home *Enter Address *History *MSN - Traffic I just tested it and it worked fine. Make sure you are not trying to open it before it is fully downloaded.

I am sure it is possible but I would definitly need a little help from borris. As far as I can tell you would have to make a little custom script that set a variable... Then make a button like this ; *** Quick Launch Button *** now don't go putting this in your data zip it is just and example to give Borris a good starting point Borris help us.

My clock was on my head unit so when I got the Avic my clock was gone. So I am interested in upgrading the clock to work as well, I just have not gotten that far yet.
