  1. OK I think I messed up bad now... So I tried installing it again with my new SD card. Got into test mode, I went into the My Flash disk on the unit, deleted all the files and then copied all the files in the My Flash Disk of the SD card. It got to about 15 seconds and then my car died all of a sudden... Now whatever I do, it goes to splash screen and then straight to black screen... So I figured, I'd start from the beginning again. I get to "6. You should be greeted with testmode (It will look very similar to normal windows)" this lasts about a second and then
  2. So after lurking on this thread for a few months, I finally decided that I should try and install this update on my F90bt. Short story: Installed, got to reboot step, did that and since then I was in a splash screen loop. So I decided to get another SD card, reload the files and try again. So, once I get to "5. Wait until it says restart in the bottom center. Reset the unit and leave the SD card in.", I have waited for about 5 minutes, but the only thing that shows up in the bottom is "reading: Processed 100%" Is that it, or is it really supposed to say "restart" eventually?
  3. The pioneer rep suggested that mine messed up because I opened the door while it was updating... Well it's water under the bridge for me now, as I just sent it off to Pioneer to get it fixed... I'd be interrested in the sollution though, in case it happens again with update 2.1

  5. I just talked to Pioneer and they told me to send it in for a repair... BOOH!!!!
  6. well at this point I think the unit is hosed, because it has been in an update loop for about 30 minutes. It won't go into test mode either, seems like it's totally bypassing the SD card... It boots up, "system is starting up" and then I can just see the EZrider error message and then it reboots. It starts up quicker though
  7. does anyone still have the old update files? I want to try to try to reinstall those. That way I can reinstall the v2 and see if maybe something went wrong during the upate process...
  8. I have the same problem ! Everything seemed to work fine until I was on the road for about 10 and then bam, restart and as soon as it came back up I had the EZrider fatal error... I am going to try to reinstall the update and see what it does... EDIT: I tried reinstalling the update, but it wouldn't even look at the SD card, it just goes into this boot - restart loop... everytime stopping short of displaying the fatal error message... I sure hope this hasn't f-ed up my F90BT, and if it did, it better be warranty!
