  1. That will work but it is not necessary. Use a a three position dial or toggle switch, RCA Y connectors, and three relays. Join all three cameras into a single input on the head unit. Then wire the switch to the relays so that each camera only has power when it is selected on the switch. I have done this on at least a dozen times and it works perfectly.
  2. Check voltage going to the radio during remote start. Also if the radio goes on and off during the remote start process.
  3. If you did not get it installed yet and do not feel like taking the 2 hour drive shoot me an email to soundsgr8@hotmail.com. I am in Wesley Chapel and though I do not work for a shop anymore I do have almost 20 years in the 12v industry.
  4. Does the radio station presets work with your steering wheel controls? If so which steering wheel controller did you use?
  5. Did you get your steering wheel control adapter yet? Which one did you purchase? I have a 04.5 Silverado and I am using the Peripheral piece. It works but it will not work the AM/FM presets.

    not dead on

The best is actually outside the car. The antenna is designed to be outside the car. That is why it is magnetic and sealed. That is also why all factory GPS antennas are outside the vehicle. As for being off in distance it will never be very close. The satellites are locked by the government. Civilians only are able to get a piece of the available GPS signal.
