I went to Los Angeles this weekend and used my z1 on multiple occassions. Honestly, it sucks! It showed locations that were two to three blocks away from the map. Got me lost numerous times. I was going in cirlces. It didn't even pronounce some of the street names. Turned it off and used my Microsoft Streets on my laptop. Way better and more accurate. It doesn't have any problems when i'm using it at home (Fresno) but it just sucks in LA.

So, i emailed them regarding the unit and informed them that I contacted my credit card company. Guess what their reply was? Here it is! [i]We have just received our shipment of the Pioneer Bluetooth units and we can have this item shipped out to you. Please confirm the Bluetooth adapter can be sent to the [my address] California. Here's what they wrote to me when I first asked them about it. [i][i]The total price you paid, $1746.99, is a special promotional package price that includes the Pioneer AVICZ1 and the warranty. This package also includes a free Bluetooth Adapter. You are billed for the Bluetooth adapter; therefore the price is distributed amongst the AVICZ1 and the warranty. As for you not receiving the adapter yet, it is currently on backorder with Pioneer and will be shipped out to you as soon as we receive it from Pioneer. I only received the unit so my order is not complete. Can't really cancel it because they didn't actually give me a price for it. Dude just said $1750 for the whole thing. Dude actually told me that he had everything instock.

Funny thing. Before I connected the VSS wire, it was VERY accurate. After I connected it, I became about 5-7 foot off of where it's supposed to be.

Well, I'm on a mission to rig two old Acura/Honda OEM stereo face plates together and just place it over the Avic when I'm parked somewhere. So far, it's going great. I just need to sand them thin and glue the them together. BTW, I'm using a face plate from my old Integra and Civic. I'll post pics once I have it done!!

z1 doesn't have rca pre-outs?

Crappiest customer service ever! called back to inquire about my order and stated to me that it was "out for shipping." I asked for tracking number and told me he didn't have it. Then got the nerve to tell me that it won't make it any faster if I call them. NEVER buy from them again!

I had placed an order for my Avic Z1 with the bluetooth adapter and warranty at 6thavenue.com over the phone for $1795. This guy that I spoke with (claimed his name was "Billy Lee" and that he was Bruce Lee's cousin!!). He stated that I would get an email confirming my order. It's been over two days and I HAVE NOT received anything from them. Is this company that unefficient? Has anyone else had any problems with them?
