Found the XM upgrade forum. Why it doesn't come up when you search "xm" is beyond me, but oh well.... -J

I have the 14 tib images. I can seed them if..... Someone tells me how. I know how to download a torrent, but I've never posted one. Also, I am in need of the upgrade for the xm logos and gracenote database. When I search for "xm" in the forum, I get no hits. I also can't seem to find anyone posting how to get the upgrade, only that there is one. anyone know if this upgrade for the XM shows all the new Sirius stuff? Howdy. I've been running my Z1 for two years now without the vss hooked up. The nav system absolutely does not need it. I have a 2006 Jetta with the vss on the CAN bus, so it isn't available without an expensive adapter. At best, the vss signal is used to estimate vehicle position when in a tunnel or downtown area with tall buildings where a sat loss may occur. Even when I am in those areas, my Z1 tracks beautifully. So to sum up, it has never been hooked up, and my nav works perfectly. Keep in mind, most NAVs are window units which work just fine without the vss as well. -J

garrettoomey, let's sum up. You wrote that the SSD seemed to work fine in the Z, but the Z locked the drive. Did it suffer from the reboot problem? Did you test it long enough to check for that problem? I have a brand spank me new Patriot 64GB SSD sitting right here, installed in my new desktop. I'll email Patriot to confirm security can be disabled. If so, I'll take a stab at it. But if you encountered the reboot problem, I'm not going to bother..... Thx.
