    AVID-D3 Used

Here's what I did when I purchased my D3 (used). Naturally, it was a LOCAL purchase. My purchase price was $500. I had the seller, meet me at the installation. I gave him $250 and took him to lunch. An hour and a half later we both returned to the Stereo place and went through the D3 which had been installed. It all worked perfectly. I got a little tutorial in the process. I gave the seller the remaining $250. Deal done!
  3. I beg your pardon if this has been answered elsewhere. I've been searching the FORUM (and Google) for about 2 hours and can't seem to find this information...Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, in advance! I have a D3 installed in my Mustang. I have an XM Satellite interface & the BTB-200 Interface installed, as well. My Mustang has NO STEERING WHEEL RADIO CONTROLS. I know of the HAND-HELD remote that is sold for the D3. However, Is there a remote I could attach to my STEERING WHEEL that would operate the various functions of the D3??? I don't care if it's WIRE
  4. I wasted about 6 disks before coming across the info about burning the disk through the Mac Disk Utility. I was using TOAST 8. And all I kept getting was the message "INVALID DISK..." I went to the Utility and...PERFECT!!!!! I'm using VERBATIM DL DVDs... If anyone wants to contact me, I can burn them the disks... LACityBoy@Gmail.com
  5. I don't quite know who you're referring to, but, with an IPHONE, you can't remove the battery... But I did reset the NETWORK settings, as was advised by APPLE...I'll see soon if that does the trick.
  6. WEIRD!!! I have an IPHONE, and everything has ben working perfectly for about 4 months. And now, all of a sudden, the D3 will not "auto connect" when I start the car. It's registered...paired...I even sacrificed a virgin! Still, won't auto connect...and this is after having it work flawlessly for about 4 months! I have to try other phones to see where the problem lies, but just weird that this should happen all of a sudden, for no apparent reason!
  7. I have the BTB-200. I PAIRED and REGISTERED my iPHONE with my AVIC D3 about 4 months ago. It has always connected, flawlessly, whenever turning on my car. All of a sudden the AUTO CONNECT function stopped working. Now I have to PAIR the units again and REGISTER my phone again every time I start the car. I have RE-SET...RE-PAIRED...RE-REGISTERED about 5 times. Did I, inadvertantly, do something. Again, it's been working perfectly for 4 months. And yes, the "Auto Connect" feature is ON! Any ideas would be appreciated.
