  1. Hey 34by151, Just wondering what additions have been added for beta2 and beta3. Thanks!
  2. Damn, sorry to hear that mate. Glad it didn't cost you too much to get another one on its way though!
  3. Great idea! Dynamic volume is a useful feature but its implementation is poor. Linking to music volume seems like the simplest approach (one control for everything), but it's also the most practical. Looking forward to future updates. Cheers!
  4. Ah, now I feel bad! Don't do it on my account, I'm happy to mess around with data.zip. Thanks for that, makes sense. Loving the new features!
  5. 34by151, Updated to 02c_beta and all is well, including Bluetooth (go figure). I initially wanted to keep the default skin for a while to see the differences it had over 2.0, plus I thought the map screen was a bit cluttered with all the extra info. I've since realised that a lot of it was from the emulator and everything else is customizable, so all I can say is great work once again! The only gripe I have is with the clicky key sounds in the nav screens, but I'll play around with the audio files in data.zip until I'm happy. One quick question though: What's the difference betwee
  6. I'm no expert, but it sounds like what happened to me. It could be that your map is not compatible with iGo 8.3 or that you didn't copy the license across for it. Does it also reboot after a few minutes? My guess is it does this because it can't load everything (hence the startup message) so reboots to try again. I fixed it by deleting my old maps and licenses. I've since found current ones and all is well (nav-wise, at least). Also make sure the Device type in sys.txt is correct.
  7. Hi guys, Firstly, big thanks to 34by151 for all your work. I've updated my US F90BT with the 16.1 Aussie maps using your V3UPDATE01 files, but have run into a few issues. Everything seems to work fine, with the exception of Bluetooth and Speedcam. Bluetooth doesn't detect any devices, nor is the AVIC detected from other devices. As for Speedcam, there are no options in the settings as there were when I was running V2. I thought maybe the Device type was incorrect, but it is set to PIONEER746UC, which I believe is correct for my unit. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
  8. Good to hear you've got it sorted. I got it going as well by deleting everything in My Flash Disk and recopying everything, but this time with the regular maps, etc. Not sure what it was that fixed it, but I suspect it was having issues loading my old maps. Looking for new ones now. Thanks!
  9. The exact same problem just happened to me, but I was stupid enough to assume that it would work and didn't back up. I've always backed everything up, but never needed to use them, so I got complacent... What a pita. Diaftia, when you say restore to 2.0, you're talking about WinCE (the blue screen) correct? In this case, can you suggest where I might be able to find a 2.0 to restore? I'm using a US F90BT and was running Australian maps without a hitch. When I copied the folders across, I used my Aussie maps, etc rather than the ones that were already there. Could this have caused any p
  10. Hey all, I've been browsing through these forums with interest and am just after some clarification. My grand plan is to buy an F90BT from the States and load Australian maps onto it, which would save me a bunch over buying an F900 locally, plus I'd end up with a superior unit. Given the success of the thread about the European maps, I'm assuming Aussie maps would work in much the same way? I'm also not clear on the license. Is this for the maps or the unit? Alternatively, I could use the Launcher to load up TomTom or the like. How have people found the stock software in compariso
