  1. how do you figure that? have you installed it? This is definitely a firmware upgrade along with the maps.
  2. If you have the 100FM update, boot the system with the 'B' card and it should show up. In my case, the license key that was generated by the Pioneer website was the exact same license that it generated for my 100FM update...
  3. Can we find out what the iGO biuld version is on the latest upgrade? Boris, I'll be glad to if you'll tell me where to look.
  4. Actually, there is a wince upgrade on the second disk as well, along with enough application updates they changed the version number from 3.x to 4.00010.
  5. Mine would only load from the second card - it didn't recognize the first card. I was upgrading from version 3.
  6. I put a clean install of 3.01 back on to do the upgrade. I have IDT's mods, so later today or tomorrow I'm going to reinstall them and check it for compatibility. VBLUE42 is right about the screen photos from the post in the first page; it's not a photo of the UI for this update. From what I remember of the factory 3.01 firmware (I didn't stop to look yesterday when I reimaged it back to 3.01), the new UI looks a lot like the 3.01 UI - which was an improvement over the 2.xxx screens... I just haven't had time to go through all the menu options yet and look around.
  7. Works like a champ, no issues at all. Also I checked the firmware version; it now says 4.000010. I know it put an updated WINCE image on there during the update process.
  8. Installed this update this afternoon. After using my F90BT all week last week on a trip to Florida, I can say it seems to be significantly faster. It did do a firmware update to version 4.0, and performed a 45 minute update of all of the data files. One thing very interesting to note is that when I generated the password for my hardware ID and the media ID for the CNSD-200FM upgrade SD's, it gave me the exact same password as when I installed the CNSD-100FM update last year.... very interesting.... just sayin.... oh, BTW, I only had to use the B card in the package, and not th
  9. Is anyone else having a problem getting on Pioneer's website today, or am I just having a bad karma kind of day?
  10. Excellent mod!!! Very much appreciated... check your paypal -Chuck
  11. That sucks! Hope it turns out to be something insignificant... and again, thanks for all the work you do on this thing. Pioneer could really learn a lot from you, bro!!!
  12. Hey IDT, you've got paypal... thanks for all the hard work! -Chuck F90BT
  13. I'm curious why everyone thinks the server is in Japan. Pioneernaviationupdate.com resolves to California. Not Japan by any stretch of the imagination. http://www.geoiptool.com/en/?IP=63.83.249.25 Haha, that's awesome...There are days when I wish that were true. Doesn't matter where the front-end web server is, the data entered is being validated (at least to see if you entered your device number in hex) by the server in California but the back-end database could be anywhere in the world. Apparently it's in Japan and there is only one.
