Well acronis has changed their default restore...it did a file overlay instead of a partition wipe rewrite

Well no dice...disconnected the bt and it hung till I killed it 20 min later...plugged in and it boots ok but no bt...its a z1 pre jul but it had the 3.0...do you have the 4.0??? I have an FTP site

hmmm, well I was thinking of pulling the cables and verifying connections...maybe this is will force a hardware refresh

downloaded the 2010 Zx torrent and uploaded it to the z1 drive with out issue...system went perfect till I tried to pair it and the bluetooth reported NOK...has anyone else seen this? could it be I got a bad segment of the torrent? the hash looked ok according to the app I even tried to re-image the drive however no love...did a complete wipe, etc thoughts??

applied the torrent like I have in the past however it says NOK for status of Bluetooth and CDDB Grace note "-"...anyone else seent this?? I didnt encounter any issues in the Acronis application...

occasionally I get this noise on the bluetooth, its a almost like it lost the signal and repeast the last split second for about 2 sec...I have experienced this with a blackjack, razr, and iphone...and also have upgrade my z1 to z2 and latest z3... thoughts?

sound similar to the issue with fords shaker system...the built in amp takes 5v but the AVIC puts out 12v...might want to see if you have a built in amp and what the input voltage is...

found the stocks.txt file with alot stock symbols...does anyone know if you can alter that or are the number directly tied to comstock?

is there anyway to update the stock symbols? I like to monitor my stocks occasionally but new symbols are unaval...perticular VMW

there is a mustang website with the exact pin out for the VSS, as far as the dimmer, I had to probe out the parking lights...if you dont do the lights you will be blinded by the screen

I have a Z1 in my stang...couple things to worry about...the dimming wire, DSS (Speed sensor), and the stepdown voltage for the amp...as far as mp3 player, the Z1 has a up to 4 aux inputs and also has a module via IP bus that reads mp3 players via usb...I would look at CDRB20 or CD-UB100

Someone here was thinking that since pioneer put in a way to relock the hard drive when it is inserted and the unit is booted up that the drives probably come unlocked and pioneer is letting the avic lock the drive on first boot up. I did not think it was the case. Seems weird they would go through all the security procedures and when they image their drives they left out the locking part. I would assume that Pioneer has a machine that is used to clone drives and pump them out at a rapid rate, and the last step in that cloning procedure would be to lock the drives.
