Is 3.0 really that bad? You're making me wonder if I should have my $60 refunded. My honest to God impression is that the ONLY fix is the faster buttons. They ARE much better, I wont lie. But thats it. And thats a free fix if you search here. Its a bit complicated, but certainly free and not worth 60 bucks. To get the sounds to match in the navigation screens you have to go in the data.zip and replace the files in the sounds folder with the ones from the data zip in the 3.0 update. Then everything matches.

Which wince version did you use, that of the 2.007 update or from the 3.0 update? Is it neccesary to go into service menu? Can i not just put thewince image in there while in (old)testmode2.2 and then restart? I used the wince for the 3.0, but i'm not sure about having to go into service mode, but it is really easy to do so i would just take that route.

I don't think you can use the maps without the license files, and you can't use IGo 8.3 without the maps, so what is the point of uploading them? I don't think you can even use the APL or APL2 without the WinCe update. I can upload the WINCEIMG no problem, and If anyone can prove me wrong about IGo 8.3 I can upload that too, but without the license files and maybe just one or 2 maps, the thing is about 1.5G Sorry, but I'd like to keep the license files for myself, I hope you can understand that! Correct! We have been able to update the wince system to the latest version that 3.0 uses and we have switched the apl folder from our previous to the apl 3.0 folder. button response is very quick now. unfortunately we havent got a hack for the navi side(apl2) yet. I'm sure its coming soon.

You should have a blue light indicator right by the sd card slot. We wouldnt need one on the map screen.

I actually finally just got around to installing the AV bars and unfortunately doing a test drive on a long named road the text did interfere with the AV bar information. It jumbled all up. Guess i will have to stick with a black AV bar.

Again Noobs like you opening their mouths when they shoudn't need to shut the f*** up. I've dealt with plenty of important people on here and have been nothing but cordial as well as helped people out and never had any one talking crap to me.
