just do double check you delete all files in the flashdisk. Even the windows foler?

Correct. But if it connects it should still ring while you are placing a call. Its like the head unit isnt picking up the bt until the phone connects. Either htc is missing a command or the unit is not listening for it or listening for a differnt one. Im still looking into this.

Same reason i have been looking. I know there has to be away to unlock more power out of this unit. I might have to find a cheap 700bt also or shoot the can and open up my 900bt

I have been searching for a broken f series for 3 days and not having any luck. Im sure someone here has one or knows someone with one. I dont care what happened to it as long as its in one peice. could have a broken screen. been dropped. been shorted, someone tried to steal and mangled it. Will it only look in the sd card or will it check flashdisc first then sd

Ye i tried that and it told me there wasnt enough space. I wonder if there is a line to add to sys.txt for dem to read the sd card for the dem file. I know there is a way to make it read maps from the sd card. Is there any pictures of this unit open. I wonder what kind of flash memory they are using. and if you can upgrade it. Im finding the biggest limitation of this unit is space lol. Im really tempted to pull mine apart.

thanks I will load the 3dl file when i get home. Also is there a more detialed terrian map then is shown. I know the setting says high. But it doesnt look very high.

So far i havent seen one 3d building in california. Which is strange because its the biggest size file. I loaded up the hacked ezrider and licnese folder. I got a copy of USA_California.3dl and placed it inside of content/building made sure enable_buildings=1 was in my sys.txt and not a one. I thought for sure LA would have some i didnt drive but moved my finger across the map till i got to la but nothing showed up. any ideas.

The some phones wont ring through BT when placing a call if i usr the radio to place a call i have to guess when the people pick up by just saying hello over and over. I sent both htc the maker of my phone and pioneer an email about this. Htc responded saying that if the phone works and its passing commands back and forth its not there problem. I and agree because it works in my wifes SYNC just fine and my jawbone headset. Only factor is the pioneer radio.

I got a nice reply back from htc and I have to agree with them. I did some more testing today and my htc works with MS sync, my jawbone headset, going to test it tomorrow on a lexus navigation that runs an ecplise series.
