  1. Im going to try this tonight. I hope it works for me. I mis my F90.
  2. My FT90 stopped booting up last month. All I get is the splash and it shut down. So I down loaded the update from Pioneer. The update starts and runs for about 2 or 3 min and stops at 43 percent. The screen turns red and it states copying error. I tried it 3 times. Two different updates. So, is it my internal hard drive that went bad?
  3. Nice work. May I please request one for my D3 FDNY with a fire truck and EMS ambulance. If possible with the world trade center in the back ground. Thank you in advance. Or anything you think might be a great design.
  4. my ft90 stopped booting up this week. radio starts, lights go on, the splash comes on and then poof its off. It was working for two years with the up date to 3.0 from pioneer. i would like to reinstall to try to get the radio working. Please help. my email is n2row@hotmail.com . ill check in to see if someone has a link that works thanks.
  5. Well I guess Ill join the family as well. My FT90BT stopped working as well 2 nights ago. The first time it happened I got some foriegn language on the screen and thats it. So I turned off the radio and rebooted. Same problem So I reset the radio. Now I get nothing. It turns on the lights on the buttons, than my splash comes on after 30 secs. poof. DOA. And this is a stock radio with 3.0. in it. I pulled it last night and put a D3 in its place. I have a power supply so I would like to defibulate it and get it working again. So you think this is a boot problem or hard drive?
  6. I dont know why, but I lost the rear channel. No voice or music. It acted as a subwoffer. The system was installed in my Civic Ex with the factory amp 2 years ago without a problem. So I pulled the radio to start trouble shoot the rear channel. My speakers were fine. I put the front channel to drive the rear deck with no problems. I noticed that I was getting the same signal response as my subwoffer outputs. Very wierd. Anyway all my wiring was fine. So I did the reset on the radio, which is that pin hole on the front of the radio. And all is back to normal. Very happy with this unit.
  7. In NYC all the transmitters are all pretty much in the same area. So I drove 5 miles away looking at the sky line and did a scan. Loaded up all the digital channels and that was it. If yo plan on driving out of the area and you dont pick anything up than yes do another scan. But im guessing all the stations probably use the same frequencies.
  8. Buy another plug from radio shack with the wire. Just cut the other end off and split the wire. Look for the positive tip wire. Add a glass fuse holder to that wire and connected to a power source when the ignition is on. The other goes to ground. Use a multi tester set it at ohms connect it to the tip of the plug and check both wires. When the meter moves you found your positive lead. Or a test light. same method
  9. Ok Looked up the ARTEC T3AP it looks good 6.42â€(W) x 3.94â€(D) x 1.18â€(H)(Body) Ill order it. I have one more coupon. Im trying to get a neat install. Thanks
  10. How big is this box? The reason I picked this box is because it fits underneath the radio counsole in my Honda Civic. Most of the Boxes Ive seen in my area a were pretty wide. Ill try to find this model.
  11. http://www.r18civic.com/forum/picture.p ... ctureid=27 Here is 2 pics of my HDTV Receiver with my Navi. It works pretty good. Not as good as analog TV but its pretty cool. Simple install. I currently have connected to my AV2 input which is that white IPOD wire. Any way here is what I did. First parts. 1 HDTV Receiver: Access HD Model DTA 10550D Rite Aid $19 dollars with $40 coupon. 2 Rabbit ear antenna the type that snaps in a regular tv Not Desk mount. $1.99 at a 99 cent store. 3 9ft coaxial cable. Same place same price 4 coaxial barrel connector. This to connect two cables toge
  12. You need to connect the camera trigger wire behind the radio to the reverse light positive wire side. Go to your menue and select battery not ground. Reboot radio. The radio should now go into the reverse camera mode automatically.
  13. I hope its not to late. i just 2 cameras on two Civics. These camera use 3 wires. Positive , negative and a trigger. I connected the hot wire to const battery power, Negative to ground, Trigger to revers light positve lead. Behind the radio you have a trigger wire for the camera. Run that wire to the same revers light positve switch. Go to the radiow menue to back up camera turn it on and select battery. reboot and your done. every time you go into reverse the camera will go on and your radio will switch to revers camera. I did the negative ground but it gave me a lot of problems. I hope this
  14. Im using a diversity ant. comes with a preamp. It hides in the headliner. I purchased it 4 years ago for my passport with a build in TV tuner flip down monitor. It works fine for my Honda Civic with the ft90 with a digital recvr to av2.
