Anyone have an answer to this yet? I never took out the flash card and it reupdated out of nowhere and now I'm in the same boat. I'm stubburn and want to fix it myself. It goes into testmode but thats it.

Tried them both. Still get the splash screen!!!! HELP!!!!

Thank you so much for the files. This isn't what I was looking for but I think it's what I need. Forgive my ignorance but this is my first day on here and I just came to fix my unit but I think it was a blessing becasue of all the mods I will do. Now the porblem. I cant find a /data folder in my radio. I think it was somehow erased during the botched update. Does it go in the device "folder" or in the flash drive "folder"? I think my next step is to just drop it in there. Someone help I'm really dying to play.

On and for the HD question. The unit will fit. Ground and constant 12V are down there also. But you will need to run the IP-BUS cable and the antenna cable.

We are close to NYC and use the sirius antenna with the xm also but the official word from xm is that if you leave a metropolitan area where there arent as many repeaters the reception will be very bad. I'd like to know if you have any feedback about this. Lash as far as your question we have a page that explains the parts needed but I'm not sure about the advertising rules on here. I would appreciate it also. I never took out the SD card after the update and somehow a few days later the radio began updating itself. After that the unit just got stuck in the splash screen. Thanks Christian
