  1. So I installed the Newest NavTeq map for my state in hopes to get the speed limit signs to work on rodes other then highways, no luck. And I can't seem to get my garmin mobile XT maps uncompressed to use them outside of my phone. Another issue I'm having, perhaps somone here knows a cure.... Several of my POI's remain on the screen even if I have them turned off in the settings, and when they are on, many arent branded, some of the icons are transparent. Though I see doubles in the list, some transparent some not. I'm gonna try and re-install the branding, and possibly try the TeleAt
  2. Thanks, I kind got that impression as I browsed the net about this. So is it safe to assume that I can change the map data and your mod's will remain "uneffected"?? Speed cams and buildings are map specific as well? Branded POI's are NOT map specific? (some are opaque and some aren't) whats your take on this, and can it be corrected?
  3. MSN is getting more and more annoying actually. Construction has been completed on several rodes for months, and one stretch of road has been completed since May of 2008 and MSN still shows construction there. Road was widened to 5 lanes from 3, Lane guidence on map is spot on. Go figure. I'd love to have an alternative to MSN, my Garmin was pretty acurate with traffic, accidents, and construction.
  4. Since we'll be Loosing MSN in a few years, are there any plans for a replacement??? Haven't found much looking around the forums, though may not of looked in the right places. While MSN seems a bit behind "real time", Garmin Moble XT was spot on with the traffic, accidents, ect. I hope there is going to be some sort of replacement.
  5. FABULOUS!! Diaftia, this mod is awsome, thanks for the hard work, and continued development on this. I've been running this mod for about a week and love it! This is the first major mod I've installed on my x910 and it seems to be working flawlessly. I do however have one small issue. My speed limit signs only seem to work while I'm on the highway. And some are not correct, speed limit has been the same for at least the last five years. I used Garmin mobile XT since its release and speed limit signs worked for ALL roads, also the traffic on the Garmin XT was the most accurate I've s
  6. Care to make a few with a Mercury logo. One with a nice woodgrain background would be great......
  7. I'll be purchasing my 900bt in a few weeks and I thought no better place to beguin my journey into hackin things up then with the splash screen. If anyone is kind enough to make one for me that is.... However, If I may ask first. Do I need a 300 dollar program to create my own? Cheaper? Shareware? I'm looking for a Mercury emblem, as I drive a Grand Marquis. Like the one in the Sync add at the bottom. Float, shadow, no icons, brushed metal BG, maybe carbon fiber. But to re-state, I'd realy like to do this myself, programs appreciated.
  8. While I don't own this little gem of a head unit....yet. I have had the chance to use plenty of blue tooth devices on the phone accessorie side of the market. Motorola DOES seem to have more of the little things such as beeps for notifications, and assigning buttons that access the phone from the blue tooh device. (volume, voice dial, ect.) While other phones seem to be catching on, it was also mentioned that the "standard" for bluetooth doesn't realy include the little things as a "must have" in order to be considered bluetooth compliant. Which is why HTC told you if it connects and you can
