Any news on how we can order the drive from Transcend?

You only have to pay $120 for the US-version? The European version costs $400 in Norway! Pioneer is totaly ripping me of.

I saw at Fudzilla that new IDE SSD disks are coming, at least in Japan. With 70 MB/s read-speeds, these would really speed up load times on the Avic. Anyone want to guess if they will work? The next big quiestion is: are they avalible outside Japan?

I myself am also searching for the HD3-II image. Is it possible to buy the 2008 European DVD from Pioneer online?

Are there no issues with the 60 GB MK6034GAX and cold weather? It's Min Operating Temperature is rated at 41 °F, while the original 30 GB MK3029GACE has a min operating temperature of 3 °F. As temperatues here in the north often fall to 0 °F this issue is the only thing holding me back from bying a 60 GB replacement.

Any news on unlocking the Transcend? Did you get a feel of the speed while using the SSD? I don't think Transcend has the fastest IDE-SSD, both Super Talent and RiDATA has 32 GB disks with higher Read-speeds (60 Mb/s)
