  1. Hello there, I would first like to start by asking you, what's The year, make, and model of your car. 2. You really should add an amplifier, it will allow you listen to your music alot louder with no distortion if set properly. Virtually every high power headunit only outputs about 15-25 watts/RMS. Reasonably priced amplifiers are rated between 50-75 watts/RMS. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of speakers you are using. 3. I highly recommend upgrading your speakers, the 1672R's are not good for sound quality. Consider getting component speakers for the front doors, much better
  2. try programing the unit while the car is running not just in the on position.I had problem programming it in a 06 Chevy 2500. It turned out that the voltage was to low with the ignition in the on position.
  3. The unit is not the problem. As an installer i have encountered this problem a couple of times. You mentioned that it will only reboots when you start driving but if you're stationary it works just fine. I seen that and I went nuts trying to troubleshoot the first unit. the problem lying within the software bypass, if it is no done right this syptom with appear. Reflash your unit, and redo the bypass again, step by step. I personally have not done the bypass but, my buddy did it and he had that same problem. Thanks to him I was able to figuere out the problem.

  5. if you remove the pocket if will be a perfect doudle din opening. the vw's do not use a slide-in cage they have metall tabs that secure the din radio in. you need to get a set of euro radio removal keys to pull your radio out. However you will need to cut the ABS platic that separates the radio opening from the pocket opening, use an airsaw if its available. finally you will need to purchase the double din install kit from Pioneer because Avic only comes fitted for Asian vehicles or American vehicle with the appropriate kit.
  6. If you did the Hardwire bypass correctly you should not have this problem.
  7. then thats most likely your problem, nav options will only be available if the P. brake is engaged. Q. Does it keep rebooting?
  8. Do you have the P. brake wire connected properly?
  9. I'm an installer and I had that problem with a f900bt. If the vehicle ws not moving the unit operated properly. However after driving for about aminute the unit would keep rebooting. I'm thinking that the application software in the unit was hacked and and they owner probably screwed up somewhere. Sure enough, I asked one of my buddies who had bypassed his unit with application software change. He renamed one of the files incorrectly and that what it did, it kept rebooting after the vehicle started moving a certain speed. So he corrected it and the unit works like a charm. I'm guessing your u
