Just updated my Z3 to 2010 maps. I plugged in an address about 150 miles away and it wouldn't calculate the route. It says, "Route cannot be calculated because destination is too far"? Any thoughts???

Is there a way to stop the Z1 from trying to pair with my phone. Even with my phone unpaired with the Z1, I get a message on my phone that the Z1 is trying to pair with it. This is very annoying since I'm using the phone with a bluetooth headseat and the Z1 is trying to pair so it sends out a signal and causes a lot of background noise. Any advice?

took a long time. he says he'll ship it out within 2 weeks but it took more like 4 weeks. sorry, don't have the part number anymore, but it should be on the mybimmer website.

yes, i used the mybimmer bezel. the guy's name is rich i think? he does very good work--it's worth the money. i don't have any pics but it looks great--like a factory install.

I just replaced my factory speakers with Alpine 6.5 and 4 inch along with an Alpine 100WX4 amp. I turn down the gown quite a bit but still have an audible background hissing that is very very annoying. Anyone know what I can do about this?

Now hold on to your socks--I just got an email from them. They wanted to know if I would like to ship the unit to them when I get it back from Pioneer so that they can put the screen protector on for me--at no charge of course. I couldn't believe it! Now that is customer service!

Just got word from ShieldZone that they will pay for the repair of the screen! There is a god!

Yeah totally sucks. I really wasn't pushing that hard. Pioneer wants $200 to fix. Not really excited about looking at a big hole in the dash for 3 weeks and crying myself to work.

They supply a plastic squeegee that is used to "slide" out air bubble from underneath the plastic film after it is placed. While using the squeegee the screen cracked.

I cracked my screen putting a screen protector on! How do I get it fixed???

You can also go to Streeteffectz in Union NJ. There's a guy there named Ron (I think that's his name) who did a great job on my install including ducatiboy circuit.

I paid $750 for Z1, bluetooth, XM, PAC, ducatiboy bypass circuit and hardwire radar detector in my BMW M3. They had to modify the air vents though so it was quite a bit of work. I was happy to pay it--everything works great!

I entered all my phone numbers in the phone book manually (transfer doesn't work with my phone) and when I say "telephone book" after the voice prompt it doesn't recognize me and goes straight to the map. Bluetooth works and all other voice commands work, just not "telephone book". Any ideas???

Perhaps I'm an idiot, but I can't figure out how to transfer any contacts from my phone book (Motorola RAZR) to the Z1. No problem with connecting with bluetooth, but when it says "Ready to receive business card" I have no functions on my phone that will allow me to send the information. Any advice???
