  1. This is still ongoing, unfortunately it hasn't been cracked yet
  2. It won't take long for you to realise how much work is involved with the Avic loom, it's a nightmare, but do it right and you will have a great set-up. Good luck with the install
  3. There are 2 methods of operation/connection: 1- Powered by cig adaptor, sound output thro' inbuilt speaker (crap) 2- Powered via ND-G500 amp, hardwired, sound output thro' cars existing speaker system (perfect, but a bitch to wire up, and the so-called wiring diagram is a joke) I did the latter option, binned the huge suction mount, adapted the cradle bracket to be permanently fixed on the dash and I now have a more 'integrated' set-up
  4. Yep, You can do both the hardwire/handbrake mod and the software mod, just as I did with mine.
  5. Seems like you've done the same as me and I have no probs with my 500. What speed have you changed to in the s/w bypass?

  10. I'm still running Mavs' with some mods and tweaks of my own. I'm in the process of compiling a new DATA.zip with a bunch of mods selected (stolen ) from several of the other members, together with my own and some new bitmaps that I'm working on. Not ready yet but soon as it is I will post it for download. ds
  11. w= the width of your box h= the height Most times the h= doesn't come into play, because the height of the font is already decided when font size is selected
  12. Yeah, a few posts ago I said I couldn't access it either. I'm in the process of doing some other mods so as soon as I finish I will post the new zip plus my original one. I'm pretty busy at the moment so bear with me.
  13. Off topic, but I'm having major probs with 7zip. Select a file to copy/move, Get a box saying "Error copying file. The file exists." Click the X in this box and another box appears, "Target cannot handle this type of document." Yet the Windows 'copying' box is still displayed, although there is nothing happening on the progress bar. I've uninstalled and installed a new download but still the same thing happening. Ideas, anyone?
  14. GTIMatt, Great job with the boxes, I'm still trying to get the hang of Gimp LOL. Kinda infectious, don't you think, this modding lark
  15. Go to > Top Menu > Settings > Navi Settings > Set Home, then press Address bar and use one of the methods in the Destination Menu that pops up. Thanks for trying to help, I got it sorted by re-installing a bit of script that had gone astray during numerous mods. BorisM explained what the prob may be and as usual he was spot-on.
  16. 'w' is the width of the (invisible) box that the particular text fits into. 'h' relates to height of same box, although this isn't come across as often.

  18. Wiske80, I won't be posting my new zip yet, there's still a couple of things I'm working on, also there's a glitch that I need help to sort out. But here's a list of what my mods will be: General: > moved position of - Actual Street name > background and font - Speedcam Warning box and contents - Next Street name > background and font - Next Turn > background and font - Date display slightly bigger > altered wording/positions of certain displays/buttons in various navigation menus/sub menus. For example, I hated seeing the word 'settings' displayed several tim
