i dont understand much about these ip-bus and non-ip-bus connections.... right now I have the CD-IB100II connected to the avic-z1 and I want to get video from the ipod video working. what should I do? thanks.

Oh. So we should lower the volume on the phone as well? I thought it was just on the avic unit. Im going to give the update a try and im going to try these steps. Thanks everyone.

I got the pioneer and its awesome. never seen another camera before but mine is perfect even at nite. pricy tho.

Has anyone tried this? I believe I have all the parts needed except the cables and I wanted to give it a try but only if works. I wanna be able to use the internet and have the extra storage for video/music.

I just got it installed a few weeks ago and its awesome, bit pricey tho but I dont think I would be happy with anything else. Will try to get some pictures tomorrow. later for now...

All they want is wait until everyone gets the Z1 unit so they can sell us and "update".... sometimes im not able to find addresses as old as 3-4 years. Its amazing, i love my unit as well but this is just frustrating.

what exactly is the gracenote update? Is it for the songs you upload to the hard drive thru CD-R or CD-RW? Thanks everyone. Im new here, trying to get the facts straight.
