  1. Thanks to all you guys who figured out the emergency brake work-around. I will be having mine installed this week!! Pioneer was not any help when I contacted them with my application problem.
  2. Will the CD-R5 and CD-SR1 remotes work with the D-3? Since my wheel has no audio controls and I can't reach the radio from the drivers seat, this (CD-SR1) is a must. I would guess I need the CD-SRI for this application due to the video. As I understand it, the SR1 is also used on the Z-1. Also, the CD-R5 will be ideal for running the video to the rear 32" LCD TV. I use the CD-SR11 on my Ford Ranger wheel (also no audio controls) for my D2 which works fine. Thanks.
  3. I'll be grateful when someone posts the bypass and blows this spamming yahoo out of a job! It's like selling water to a man dying of thirst in the desert. Cheap!
  4. PERFECT for me - if someone can figure out the switch!!! Come on you guys!!! Gitter Done!!!
  5. Air brakes? Dang, your diesel must be a lil' bigger than mine! Dunno!! This is mine: This is where I'm going to put it (replace stock radio/DVD/CD player) Forty foot 330 HP, Torque: 950 lbs./ft. Max. Net at 1,300 RPM Cummins diesel w/6 speed Allison transmission. I have a D-2 in my truck and use it a great deal. Figured the D-3 would be a good replacement for the unit in the coach. And.......No! I aint 80!!! LOL That said - now you see that without the ability to defeat the emergency brake wire - it won't work! So! If you figure out the "fix" pl
  6. In my case since I have air brakes, and there is no emergeny brake. Need the bypass or I will have to go to a Z-1, but I would prefer the D-3.
  7. Yeah! Please post that as I can't use it unless there is a bypass available.
  8. Would one of you guys know the exact dimensions of the unit?
  9. Car Toys gave me a 10 percent discount as they have an installer agreement with the Ford dealer I bought my truck from. They agreed to give me the discount, even though it is the motor coach they will be installing on and not my truck - which was pretty good of them! Don't have the install cost yet, but, it should cost around what it cost on my Ranger with the D2. The installer did a very professional job and I watched him do the install of my D2 on the Ranger. Very knowledgeable guy!
  10. I considered that. However, all the satellite dish functions, home theater stereo speaker system and DVD functions for the flat screen run already through a switching unit up front and to the Magnadyne M9900DVDS system. This makes install much easier as everything is right there without having to reroute cables. I already installed a DVD player for the bedroom flat screen TV. It is also hooked so that the satellite dish will work back there as well, but relied on the front DVD player
  11. Interesting video on YouTube. I did not see him mention anything about connection to another video unit, such as rear seat display - or in my case the rear mounted 42 LCD flat screen. I know it has the jacks for it, and in talking with the CarToys guys, they are pretty sure it will work. It's one of the main reasons I am going with the D3. I stopped there today and they are going to be selling it for 999.00 I'm reluctant to purchase sight unseen at this point as I still don't know how they will get around the emergency brake issue. I have heard that Pioneer may have defeated
  12. Mine does the same when it's been cold and damp out. Works fine though!
  13. When they say that it will be released in March - anyone got any inkling from previous Pioneer product releases as to whether it's the beginning, middle or end of March? I am going to have one installed in my 07 Holiday Rambler diesel pusher. I need to replace the ridiculous stock radio/DVD player and this is what I intend to use. I want the Nav system in it also - because, since it's 41 feet long (52 feet with Ford Ranger in tow), I can't afford to get lost. Might have to back over your BMW to get turned around!! LOL!! Also, do we anticipate any problems with the emergency brake w
  14. PaisanNYC: That came out great. I loaded it in tonight. Thank you very much! Gordon
  15. That is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Thank you very much!!!! Gordon
  16. I would very much appreciate it if one of you folks could take this pic and replace "Explorer" with "Ranger" and "AWD" with "4X4" and add "Navigation Loading....." We use the Ranger to tow behind our motor home. You guys do awsome work! Thanks
  17. There are several Nero versions. Which is the cheapest one that will do the job?? Any other burner program recommendations?
  18. What size (height X width) works best for the background replacement of the "Pioneer" load picture would you recommend? I would appreciate your input. This is a great Mod! Can't wait to try it!
