I went to Google its right on. I think I screwed it up somehow My maps say 2008 in the my flash drive but on the Avic they say 2007. Can I remove the IR zip folder from Igo? or can I reinstall the firmwhere update 2 I have already installed some hacks will that kill the system. I checked the posted flash disk and there is no IR zipped file in the Igo folder

Should there be a compressed IR file in the IGO folder. The reason I sak is because the F900 can not find my house it's off by a few hundred feet. My maps say 2007 on the unit but when I copied my flash disk they are 2008 in the contents folder. I must have screwed something up when I put the hacked data zip in. Would be nice to have my home on the gps and who knows what else if off. I have looked for a few days and tried the sys.txt with no luck. Should I remove IR zip in the IGO folder?

No, it does not rebuild SYS.TXT. Firmware update has an original one, however... Thanks BorisM just to be sure its the one in the igo floder the same as the data zip is that correct. There are so many copies of the files and folders I get confused Thanks again

Those also go into My Flash Disk/APL2/iGo/, next to DATA.ZIP. I added the 3 files to the Igo folder now my map version now says 1.000600 before the mod it said 1.000800. My house is also off by 4 houses in the gps Where can I get my original sys.txt file anyone have one. Thats if thats the problem This stuff is great If you think the SYS.TXT is the problem, just delete it. The unit will rebuild it on next reboot. I just had a F900 installed in my 2003 4Runner. The only problem is the installer did not split the ant connection from th HD radio to the main unit so the MSN direct has no reception. Going back tomorrow to have that fixed and to add the steering wheel controls put in
