Will these issues be fixed in the next version? 1) White/Yellow boxes showing up instead of the road names? 2) Software bypass? (worked in earlier versions but hasnt in the last 2 ) ? 3) Correct camera locations? Rob

Switch views by tapping the compass(top right). And the reason you're not seeing Speed Limit signs is that they are not in the map data for that road. Speed limit sign generally only appears when you're on a highway. Will rarely see it driving local streets. What happened to Alex? He working on fixing these bugs? Havent heard from him in a while.

Indifferent I guess. Using the small but the bigger ones would be ok too.

Agreed. Was not able to get out to test the MSN version today, Alex. Hopefully someone else was able too.

Not sure. I'm using THIS ONE posted by terron in the Updated Maps thread. If i get the chance, I'll try the MSN version tomorrow.

I've only tried it while on the map screen, no destination. And its a white box, not yellow. But similar, yes.

Yes, I did the legal, ordered from Pioneer update. Ok, took a drive, opened a hole can of worms. First, I'm guessing because the bypass doesnt work, i cant use ANY on-screen "buttons" to change any settings(the dropdown menu, view mode( 3D 2D etc ) or anything else). So i pulled over in a parking lot. Put the brake on and changed to the speedo screen to test that. White square still appears on that screen where the road name should be. Sometimes its not there, sometimes it only covers half the road name, sometimes its nothing but a white box. Depends. Think thats about all

Didnt/Dont run any mods other then this one. And deleted all save files(sans favorites). What I did was completely reloaded my original My Flash Disc. Added the newest maps, ezrider and license files(guess this would be considered a mod but you had told me they would work with your mod). Then DL'ed your latest mod version and added it. Deleted the save files. Then rebooted. I'll check the Speedo and see what happens next time i get a chance. And yes, its the 700Bt. Thanks

I have actually been thinking about making that different. I actually like the mode where you get the list of all the streets you are going to take. You then select the street and click avoid. Seems like a better solution. You can currently get to that by touching the secondary direction icon (small one). My thoughts are to reverse the two so its easier to access the route. I'm talking about the software bypass that allows you to edit stuf

Bypass doesnt work anymore. It worked for me with the 9/15 and 10/10 releases but no longer works with the 11/5 update. Any ideas?

It works, but ONLY for the NAV end. It is no good for anything else, which is kinda pointless as most of the themes that I work on are for the main menu and AV part of the unit. Seriously? So even though it says on the wiki that you can edit the AV bit, you cant? UGH! I need some kind of something the will make editing the AV bit possible.

Couldnt get any of it to work. That 1 DL would never install. It probably has something to do with the version. Those downloads are way outdated. Ohwell. Any other options out there?

Trying it now. Installed 2 of the files, 3rd file wont install. The "Windows Mobile 5 Emulator" link. Any ideas as to why?

Yea, I think thats the one i tired. Doesnt edit the AV portion of the unit.

Is there a AVIC theme emulator for PC? I'm trying to edit my theme and its a real pain in the you know what to constantly go back and forth to the truck. Not looking for one that'll emulate the Nav section of the unit. Looking for one that I can use for the AV portion. Thanks for any help. Rob

I dont understand the alpha layer stuff either. I've tried for weeks and nothing I do works. Trying to make a theme but been at a stand still for a month or so because I cant get some of the images to work properly.

I dont think theres any difference between 2.0 and 3.0 as far as making/saving images go.

Probably been answered before put I'm not finding an answer. I'm trying to change the overall background of the Cruise and Speedo screens. Everytime I change it, it locks up the unit. Do you have to save, the image, a certain way? 32bit maybe? All I'm doing is just opening the solid black background, putting my image over it, flatten it and save as the same type file and name as the original. But that doesnt work. Locks up the Nav part of the unit. Any ideas?

haha, going good aside from the transparency issue. Not had time to try your images, IDT. But I did open them in PS though but I dont see any difference.
