I don't mean to hijack the thread, but for you guys that have backup cameras with you F series, do you have to wait for the unit to fully boot before it will display the back up video? I am just curious because when I have my 16gb SD card in my F700 and try to boot with the SD card set as the audio source, it takes a really long time to boot fully. If I had to wait for it to finish booting before being able to take advantage of a backup camera, it almost seems like it would be a waste of time. Has anyone run into a similar situation? I wasn't sure if the unit could display video

I have sort of a similar problem, mine used to show me the name of the person calling but now just shows numbers even though the people that are calling are in the units contact list. I'll do some hunting around and let you know if I find anything unless someone beats me to it. Just a quick question, have you deleted and the re-paired your phone with your unit since going to 3.0? That may not be related to your problem, but maybe worth a shot.

I know this is late to respond to this, but are you smoking something? The only way software for your computer knows if it's been installed before on a different computer is if it has some kind of online activation. Your computer cannot modify the CD/DVD/installer of the software to make it so it knows it's been installed before. So your analogy and logic here is totally bogus and you might want to research DRM techniques and what Read Only Media is... I am just curious and have a question for someone that successfully ordered the update. Did they ask you what your serial number was for your nav system when you were ordering? I remember people saying the updates were linked to serial numbers and therefore not shareable. If people were able to order the update and no serial number information was given then that claim was bogus and the update could be shared. just a thought...
