i dont know what i am doing different but the alpha layers are not saving in photoshop. i thought you just have to outline the image, or outline the background and invert the selection. Then go to the channels and then create new channel. What am I forgetting? Please let me know. In the meantime can someone add an alpha layer to this image? Thank you 746_32K_MN-110_32b.zip

no matter what i do i cant get an alpha layer to work with this bmp. i made it so i can have a onmap button for the cruise dial and trip computer when in route and i keep adding an alpha layer so it is round and it doesnt work still. i have done this for all my bitmaps and this one wont work, any suggestions IDT_destindtrip_onmap.zip

does anyone know the name of the volume up and down button bitmap in the image.res. i would like to change it and hoping someone could maybe point me in the right direction to save me some time. i just don't feel like searching for it. thanks

That is usually done in the state section of the cruisedials.ui file with the proper uselayer command. Something like: If its not showing up then just add a text line that says "Cruise Dials" in the cruisedials800_480.ui file. i have given up on this mod, i guess you need to add a off screen button to your map for this to work and i just want it to work when i hit off screen from the system settings screen. oh well.

I've some sort of same solution. I've made an ignition mod and now the trip computer works fine. what kind of ignition mod, do you mean in the data.zip or to your car physically?

this is totally nuts mine sometimes doesn't even work when i add a new data file in and sometimes it does. it is so random that i cant even find a way to try to trick it to work over and over. i wish there was something because that is one of the best of the mods.

i replaced my apl folder and the the VBT folder in APL2 and it started working all of a sudden. thank goodness.

i noticed that you said you tried a different code for the trip computer and i was wondering if it is working better? Mine still isn't working that well, pretty much not working at all.

why did you add the longclick to the clock, i am using the clock for this mod as well?

it is weird i can even go into testmode and do all my mods no problem and i can add spalsh screens just doesn't get past loading when the music is being accessed.

there has to be a solution. this is a huge problem and pioneer cant even help. if someone has a solution you would be making my day.

for some reason all of a sudden i cant play music from my sd card anymore. does anyone have the same issue and can help me with this? thanks

do i have to change z layers or something. i just keep getting a black screen when i hit the off screen button in the nav settings screen.

try this where ui_IDToffscreen is the black background image, you also have to add this template to general_800_480.ui well originally i missed the general_800_480.ui file before. I added the code as you said but when i go into the navi settings and i hit screen off it is just black no time and date

i forgot to tell you that i had to resize a couple of buttons because when superman originally made this theme he made some of the buttons smaller; like the buttons to dial the phone or put in a station on sirius manually, the buttons for p. ch and the seek buttons. When you change the mode you will see the that the images hang over the button. Let me know if you want me to post an updated image file if you want to use some of those buttons.

just create a layer with a date and time and then on the blackscreen state just add that layer I added this to navigatemap_800_480.ui- ;Time on blank screen ;DATE and i added this to navigatemap.ui- should i be adding anything else? lately nothing seems to be working for me.

can anyone help me add the date and time on blankscreen. i dont want to add a button on the screen to have blankscreen, i just want to add date and time. i thought it was as easy as adding the code to the nav 800 480 file but i guess it isnt because i cant get past startup. thanks

why did you have to add lines of codes to it, it was meant to work with my mod without any modifications i didn't actually add them i am modifying them to work with my mod and everything is pretty much the same. pioneer blue and red night worked and i just had to change the sun and sky bmp names to match my gfx folder and everything worked. those are the only 3 i cannot get to work. weird
