Are you sure its an N1 ? Because a while back I bought 2 N2's and was suprised at the fact that the N2's wont run the N1 software. Then I found out how easy the bypass was. But anyways, are you sure the copies or disks for the 40mt are good? I would be willing to run you off a copy provided you paid for the disks and shipping.

Well acording to metra now, i have been on the phone with them all morning troubleshooting this issue, my turck doesnt exist. they say that in 07 they changed the harness, i have an 05 envoy without bose and the harness is the same. so i they had no answer for me, i think i might try one of peripheral product. hopefully they will have it together. have done an 07 envoy yet?

well that is part of thw problem also, these that i am getting have NO version on it.

I got a 07 envoy with bose, I have tried 3 different Metra GMOS-04 harness, the first one worked but had annoying pops in the speakers and the door chime was acting strange, took it back to the local shop and got another one, this one the switched shuts off two seconds after plugging in the harness and the stereo wont work, took it back, went to circuit city, and got one from them same thing, switched shuts off seconds after turning on the truck and no door chime. Metra assures me this is right unit but i am begging to have my doubts, need some other peoples imput. thanks

Well the local shop here got me a GMOS-LAN-02 interface that was not even close for my envoy. I called metra this morning and they state i need a GMOS-04 interface. SO I am going to try that one i guess. i see CC sells them also...I appericate your responce and will be back for sure if this one dont work, man the D3 looks so clean sitting in there with the wood grain trim.

Hey guys, Im trying to find an interface harness for my denali, to change the radio. It has onstar and bose, would like to retain onstar. Does anyone know which interface I need??

Thanks for the link I really appericate it. Im still trying to get rid of my other N2 that is a refurb from pioneer, i bought 2 off ebay and never installed this one. So as soon as this one sells, im going to get a D3

I AM getting ready to purchase a D3. I have a 2007 Denali Envoy, according to Crutchfield it says that it wont fit. Dont understand that one. Also I was wondering if headrest monitors can be hooked to the D3 because it doesnt have a seperate brain right?

Curious, I have an N2 that someone tried to solder bypass and messed it up. I was wondering if the N2 can run the 40 series software? I tried to reflash it with 40 series it takes it and then when it resets itself, it says program update for a second and then fails. Im not sure if this is something pioneer did or my disks are messed up. Has anyone successfully ran 40 series software on their N2?

I could be mistaken here, but i think on the N1 it will show up in the EXT source option not the av.

Just curious what are you using to create a bootable DVD? and also are you naming the dvd something specific?
