That is what I am figuring it is an iPod issue. But it seems the settings are he same on each iPod. I am goin to check the iPod firmware and see if that is updated. But otherwise I haggard TV out set to on. TV type to ntcs (or whatever it is) and widescreen to on. Those are the only settings I see

I searched the forums here and tried the reformat on the ipod, but the thing still won't play movies, just the sound. 30G classic. I will play the first movie on my 80G classic, but just sound on the 30G (my sons cartoon movei ipod). Any suggestions? I reformated earlier after it wouldn't even play or give sound on any. But now it just gives sound on all.

I also hope people rise up to give opinion, but most of them are guests and just browsing, like I once did . Please don't forget to checkout: 1) Fixing the schemes scrolling bar thing (upper left). 2) Shifting the reserved area for clicking for the on-screen trip computer (under the current speed). Thanks. I think at this point of the AVIC's life, you will not get many responses or feedback. I don't use the Nav regulalry enough to test everything out, and small bugs usually don't bother me anyhow. Can't wait for this 3d version to come out, looks good.

Actually, It looks good if you have it at 100% fade like I use it. That way when you press the icons to appear, you have the whole bar that appears. If you were to permanently have the icons showing, then I would not reccomend it as it takes away form the screen. I was just playing around, that is why I wanted peoples input I use a 75% fade, and would use a 75% fade with the bar too. I like the idea, it kinda gives a block to push for each icon instead of the icon itself, if that makes sense.

abb, another great job on this and schemes. Ran it quickly for about 20 minutes today, as always, best work yet. I haven't been through all the screens yet though.

I think that you are right, I didnt think it was necessary as ALL NAV mods are made for 3.0. Even the ones that weren't, were updated to 3.0. I will make the change once I put up the updates which should be soon To be honest, and not a knock on the new guys coming here, but I am surprised everyone is not on 3.0 already

Abb, I would change you rtitle to reflect this is for FW 3.0+ since this is the second time I have seen this issue.

What firmware are you on?

Exactly, unfortunately, I have my sun and moon hardcoded into the image as that is the only way I can get an actual and realistic looking moon and sun into the scheme. The direction is exact, or pretty close to it as the sun and moon go in an east/west location. The height will not change in my schemes though But currently I am using your scheme/gfx and the sun follows the actual path it is on? but I am using stock sun image. Even if it is renamed to sp.spr and sp.bmp it won't show actually path?

From what I can tell with my unit, you will see the sun in its exact postion in the sky during that time of the day, if it is too high in the sky (late morning to early afternoon) you will not see it. But the moon does not funciton this way, unless the moon is "hard coded?" in the scheme, as it is with abbs files, then you will not see it in the exact position in the sky.

That is funny, I was driving to work today looking at the sun bmp in the sky thinking of posting to you if you had a different file to use. Any chance you could email that to me, or a link to it? Can't wait for the next update abb

Why would you want to delete the compass?? Knowing which way you are heading is kinda important in navigation Also, I dont know if I will be releasing it. The big change was the destination dial and only four out of 70 people gave their OK, so that is not too favorable and bringing the current speed in the navigational route was shot down by chuck and I havent heard anything else since. I make these mods for myself, and I will share them if people want them, but unless I get a favorable response, I will not put them up as it is a lot of work and pointless if only a handful of people want them

Looks good. If you release this, would you help me move the speed sign up? as I will delete the compass. Or is this possible.

I was in the same boat back in February or March. Just write down everything you want and search. I upgraded my firmware, maps, went with abbs chrome theme and nav and did my own little mods on the nav for my personal liking. Yes, the map changer is a nice feature. app put up some nice nav schemes too, also for a change I changed the splash screen. oh, check out the Carver thread on skipping the warning, it adds the Debug mode I belive.

abb, I just installed your new update and the image.res file update from earlier this month. Great job. Very clean and nice upgrades. WHen I get a few bucks in paypal, I'll ship you a few.

Good point. It really isn't a big deal to me, just was giving abb a mild bug feedback after initial install.

hmm, chuck are you having the same issue? I'll have to check what font I have on there, I may have loaded abbs font and never deleted the old ones.
