Which Avic to buy for instant rear-view camera when car on?
Urban.rogue replied to PeterUbers's topic in General
Also Im not sure if its a Huge difference as i havnt seen tests on it (May exist though) is the Flash Drive is a no Moving part instant access storage. The HDD is a moving parts and has a spin up and spin down time. Im curious if accessing a map on the Flash memory is faster then accessing it off a HDD. -

2008 Cobalt SS Wiring With Steering Wheel Module
Urban.rogue replied to Urban.rogue's topic in Vehicle Specific Wiring
you dont have to cut the 2 wires. you simply need to tap into them. The 2 wires described go into the Stock Stereo harness. but the metra GMOS-LAN-04 doesnt continue the wire through its harness where the Stock one plugs in to. -
2008 Cobalt SS Wiring With Steering Wheel Module

Nope my XM ran out in like november 08. Dont care for it one bit.. I just cant pay to listen to Radio. and the ones i heard had crappy advertising in it anyways. with Ipod control/USB/SD/CD you could stick a CRAP load of music on them. no need for XM. Doesnt XM for the Avic require an aditional harness?? -

Hmm Why cant I get the images to come in at the normal size -
I hope these images help out other people. I couldnt find a decent how-to for the 2008 Cobalt SS/TC This is just wiring the harnesses together. When I finish the install I will post pics to the rest. Used: Metra GMOS-LAN-04 PAC SWI-PS Steering Wheel Module Pioneer Head Unit harnesses Pioneer CD-IU230V Ipod Cable (Comes with the AVIC-F90BT only)(Sold seperately for the other models) These are in no particular order. But they should be descrptive enough to follow ******You seem to need to right Click and save to your computer to se the whole image.
