  1. Can anyone tell me where to get or send me links for the 3.0 install files. I want to do a clean image install but none of the links in the guides are working. I had these saved on my wife's laptop but of course it has s**t the bed and now I'm having trouble getting them. Thanks in advance.
  2. Make sure is formatted with FAT16 or FAT32. Playable file types should be MP3, AAC, WAV, AVI, WMA, and MPEG-4 The file organization shouldn't affect it (all my music is on the root of my SD card). As far as I can tell you can only shuffle songs within one folder (which is why all my music is in root). It might be different for USB drives though.
  3. F-series model: F900BT Phone make/model: Samsung Moment (Sprint) Ease of connection: Easy Phone book transfer: Easy Sound quality: Very good (with echo canceling enabled Comments: Works very well
  4. I recently installed Abb's V5 skin and whilst playing around with the settings I accidentally selected the navteq maps in mapswitcher. Since I don't have any navteq maps when my radio boots I get a "map initialisation" error and can't get to anything. I tried recopying the My flash disk files hoping to overwrite whatever config file controls that setting but that didn't work. I also tried creating a map_nt folder under content hoping that it would at least let me get far enough to switch it back but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?
  5. Is it the smooth or knurled knob?

I'm wondering about this too. Now that I think about it when I'm sitting in my driveway it shows the distance to the nearest intersection rather than where I actually am.
  7. So I did the software bypass and that seems to have corrected the problem. Thanks again for the assistance
  8. Logically it's obvious that a bad ground is my problem so I will recheck the connections but I think I will also do that software bypass. Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it
  9. So I will ask of the more technically astute members of this forum, will performing the software bypass in conjunction with hardware bypass damage my unit (go ahead and laugh) or would that correct the problem that I am currently having?
  10. I checked all the grounds (the modified mute and parking brake wire) and they are both good, I noticed that it only gives me the error once I get rolling above approximately 10mph and reverts to full functionality once I come to a stop. Based on that I am wondering if I should just do the software bypass as well to change the speed setting in the pioneer.ini file.
  11. So I did the hardware bypass and it seems that about half of the time I get a caution message saying that the system detected an improper connection to the parking brake. BTW I have a F900BT and with the ver 2.0 update. I thought about also performing the software bypass but someone in another thread said that doing both bypass mods would result in a bricked unit. If anyone can help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it
