yes, it is set to ipod. it works fine if i unplug the ipod then plug it back in again, but i get annoyed easily and want it to work like its supposed to.

5th generation ipod, pioneer cables.....i had absolutely no problems with it prior to updating

has anybody found a solution to ipods not being recognized? I just performed this mod, and its great, but I would love for my ipod to actually be recognized when i start the car. didnt have any problems with 2.06. ive been searching around for days, and cant find any solutions. im open to ideas or even willing to buy another ipod if it would work.

Anybody have problems with muddy sirius sound? I have an 09 Mustang Bullitt with the Shaker 500 system. Every other source sounds great (ipod, FM), but siruis really sucks. Sounds really muddy is the best way to describe it. I hooked into the antenna already on the car which should be in a fine place (on the trunk). i dont remember the stock head unit sounding as bad. ohh, and the unit is the avic 700bt
