You know that there are many files for the maps right? I just noticed that on a couple of different posts you mentioned putting the NT map into a folder. Here is a partial diagram of how the SD Card containing the update is setup, with a subset of the maps that I need. make sure your SD is freshly formatted, I have seen that happen with a "dirty" card. At the root of your SD you should have 2 folders, Testmode My Flash Disk Anymore or any less can cause you problems. When you are having problems keep it simple.

Hey Chuck, Your SmartTrack looks really interesting to me. I have been holding off installing your mod (I have 3 cars with an Avic) since you mention the next release coming soo/ready.... Should I go ahead and install 3.1, or os 3.2 just around the corner? No pressure, just that whole Murphy law thing that seems to follow me around. This will be my first use of your mod, I have been using Andy's mod until now. Nothing wrong with it, but your SmartTrack sounds pretty cool.

Yes, for sure it will still work after you install any of the mods available.

It absolutely should. to add steering wheel controls to an aftermarket stereo, you need a control box like the PAC or AXXESS units. These controls you the remote control input and connect that to your steering wheel. Who installed your unit?

Steering wheel controls are not software specific. If you have the unit that convert your steering wheel controls to "wired remote" control for the factory software, it will continue to work the same way.

So many great improvements in V5.0 it is awesome. Again, very well thought out. Sorry to say, but it is not your reverse wire, that is Only for the backup camera. I know that I can never get a new GPS lock in my garage and have to go to the driveway parked to get it the first time. Then it locks in my garage no problem. For your speed, it is using triangulation from the satellites to determine that (very accurate), the VSS only helps accuracy, but is not required.

Really like the looks of that. It will help for sure. Haven't been able to drive for 8 weeks now, so I haven't even tried. V4 yet, but hopefully soon. I did buy ANOTHER f700bt for my F-150, now I have one in my Mustang, the wife's Altima and my F-150.....Sure wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't for this community and the efforts by all the Dev's. Honestly I am amazed at the dedication you have Abb, and the inspiration you gave to Chuck. Who knows where this unit will take us.
