  1. Still not charging here. Consistently giving me the warning that it is not made to charge. Has anyone else had success charging the iPhone 3GS after the latest firmware? It still works on all my other systems (Philips dock, Altec Lansing dock) but not on the Pioneer radio that used to work. Is it really just changing the cable to one made by Apple?
  2. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to drain my phone a little bit more to see if that's what's going on. What I can't figure out is how it would charge before (using the Pioneer cable) then after the update, it will no longer charge. I do know that Apple has had firmware updates before that have FIXED charging issues. I know pins are pins, but on this phone, it certainly has some software to regulate certain things. For instance, when I have the phone connected to my computer, it actually will not charge until Windows is fully booted--as in it won't charge during POST and startup--even though it's
  3. I started a thread on Apple's forum in case anyone is interested. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jsp ... 5#10402925
  4. Well, I tried the Scosche adapter and it still does not allow charging. I've unplugged and plugged it in to no charging success. Wow. Apple. WTF?
  5. Has anyone tried one of those charge adapters that came out when the 3G wouldn't charge over firewire? Clearly we know that the unit supports charging, but it's just software telling it not to charge anymore. This is ridiculous. The manual for Pioneer states to use the latest firmware anyhow.
  6. Does anyone know if it allows labeling on the HD-Radio presets now? Right now, with my F90BT with 2.0, the HD presets are all blank--no station labeling at all. I use the P10HD.
  7. Has a reboot issue ever been solved by applying a hack? It would be nice if that is the case--I'd apply your hack in a heartbeat.
  8. According to Crutchfield (and an email from Pioneer), the marine remotes are CD-MR70 or CD-MR80D. To run the Sony remote, does the headunit have to be hacked with software?
  9. I am trying to get a remote to work with the F90BT. Finding that I cannot use a wireless remote, I am trying to find other options. I also do not have steering wheel controls. Does anyone have experience with using any type of wired remote (outside of the wheel) to control the headunit?
  10. Ah...so apparently the only option (if no steering wheel remote exists) is to buy the marine remote control. This from an email sent over to Pioneer. That sucks. Completely using the touch screen kind of sucks.
  11. Hello, I wanted to know if there was anyway to have a wireless remote control (preferably one that's mountable on the steering wheel) work with the AVIC-F90bt? Does anyone have experience with one that works (or works horribly)?
